They could be for sure, RCS........but I truly hope not - my adrenalin level was through the roof last night when Daniel scored the goal to take us to OT. When Alex scored the winning goal, I was absolutely stunned (not necessarily a new situation for me - LOL!). I could not believe that the game was over so soon and almost felt let down. Mind you an hour or so of Seeking Stanley and Sports Center helped get my blood pressure down to acceptable levels again though I was ready to kick the TV when Ferraro kept going on about how Alex should have been suspended. What he fails to understand is that there are many Canucks able to score that goal and had it not been Alex it could have well been Ryan or Daniel or Torre ...........well you get the drift.

I just hope I make it to the Cup without having a stroke. LOL!

GO, CANUCKS, GO! :canada:

:)

Actually, he started to come around late in the seaon. People forget how young he is. He's already good, and will only get better.

But nevermind that now. :)
I meant that sincerely. Boston looks like they're in slow motion and could use some offense.

Unfrickin' real, TP........that has to be up there with one of the quickest OT goals. WAY TO GO, ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe this kid should bite a few more fingers - only kidding - was he hot tonight or what. What a goal, what effort, what grace, was dedication!

ROCK ON CANUCKS - YOU GUYS ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO COOL! CONGRATULATIONS!

One of the Hockey Night hosts, might have been Mclean just said that Alex's goal was the second shortest ( by that I take quickest) in Stanley Cup history!

The fastest OT goal scored in the Stanley Cup finals was by a Montreal Canadians player ( Brian Skrudland ) in 1986. He scored into the Calgary Flames net just 9 seconds in.

I'm getting tired of ferraro droning on and on about burrows. since the playoffs started, there have
been other incidents where suspensions could have happened, and because nothing was disastrous, they
have let them go, they don't want to leave teams shorthanded during playoffs, and there was nothing
wrong with bergeron, he is 100% healthy.

apparantly boston is kicking up a real stink about the 'bite gate' incident. I would just say to them,
"do you need canucks to be short a player to get a victory, suck it up and play the whole team, just
as canucks are doing, or do you want a favour."

I'll bet when burrows touches the puck tomorrow, he will be bood big time.

I was delighted to see him score those goals, and also get an assist as well.

during the intermission before overtime, we were watching 'back to the future' (again), and kept
checking for the game to start, but when I checked it for the last time, it was over, we had to
sit there and wait for the replays, we just looked at each other, stunned.

the mounting frenzy and excitment in vancouver, (on the streets), and other areas too, is overwhelming,
and it brought tears to my eyes watching all of them, as I could just 'see' how they will be, 'if'
canucks do bring that cup home.

Just as I 'trash' the poor behavior of fans who threaten the players with anything and everything
because they don't 'SATISFY' they appetites for victory, I will cry in joy watching them celebrate
if it does come to pass, it will be glorious.

(but they might not, and life goes on, right?)

I wonder what bettman thinks when he watches all of those people out on the streets, peacefully
having a good time, its amazing to see, just amazing.

yeah, the stroke part, I now realize that all of my emotional reflex areas are
working just fine,

sweat, heat, red cheeks, palpitations and racing heart, adrenalin rushes constantly, loud voice,
gasping, jumping up and down involuntarily, high fives, (with someone else of course), i'm not totally wacked out, mouth hanging open, eyes big, grabbing my hair,
hands on head, flaberghasted, amazed, lump in throat, etc etc.

If there is a game 5 it will be next Friday, and a buddy of mine and I need to be in Vancouver to prep for some Canadian Open Golf volunteer training sessions Saturday morning. We're concerned about our hotel situation. He booked a room but the hotel was kind of waffling afterward. If they do hold our reservation it is possible that they may put the price in the stratosphere. We will be doing the ferry by walk-on so we won't even have a car to sleep in if we get the boot. And if there is 100,000 people on the streets we can't even sleep there! Not sure where it's all headed for us but we'll have to go and find out.

i'll be thinking about you, in my home, comfortable and secure, and i'll also watch for you in the crowd,
you'll be the one jumping up and down, begging for help, crying and sobbing, until you just dissapear
in the crowd, oh well, it shouldn't be too cold amongst all of those bodies.

then, of course there is 'east' hastings. lol

noticed the flag on our car), and of course, now he has first hand connections with burrows, because
a friend of his, met his dad, because his dad owned a lot beside the friends lot,and he actually said hi to burrows once, when he was visiting with
has dad at the friends house, "he's really a nice guy" he said, (it is amazing) how people can find a way to let you know, they know

yes, I'll expand my hunt, another one I like is butterscotch swirl.

I saw a cake, all made up in quality foods the other day, 'vancouver canucks' logo
and colours, it looked great.
If they continue on the course they are on now, I'm going to order a big one, and
celebrate, (all by myself) no, just kidding, all of the family, who wants to join
in, are welcome, all of you too, if you want to travel, lol
