Being oppressed and slaughtered for decades I sure don't blame Palestinians giving support to a group that's willing to fight back.

They never hold a day of reconstruction either as the imports use for that purpose are forbidden by Israel..

Bull**** as usual. Israel lifted the restrictions on construction materials in 2010.........and Hamas promptly built hundreds of tunnels with goods earmarked for civilian construction.

After this, Israel will once again ban construction materials.

After having 1,500 or so rockets dropped randomly into Israeli communities, I sure don't blame them for being happy that they are fighting back

Why on earth would they fire rockets at Israel?

The tunnels were always there for years and years and years. Why would they need tunnels in the first place? Freedom?

Oh you nailed me....how will I ever recover?

“We are very concerned about the repeated acts of hatred against Christians by the price-tag groups,” the Rev. Jamal Khader, rector of Latin Patriarchate Seminary, said Friday.

“They are creating an atmosphere of hatred that is bad for everyone,” Khader said. “The pope is about to visit and we need to promote coexistence. I am not worried about his safety; Israel is an expert at security. But I am talking about creating the proper atmosphere to welcome the pope.”

Like that? Why isn't it safe to be a Christian in Israel?

It's even less safe to be a Jew in Israel, what with all of the fans they have in the nations surrounding them
But they love Christians didn't you know. It's not like that region is the Holy Land to Christians and their pet monkey Jesus or something.

But hey. Let them spend the money and time protecting Christian pilgrims for their own. It's great for business to have rocks thrown at Christian and hork big loogies on them.

Fantastic f-cking people. Absolutely f-cking fantastic.

Like it or not, it's Israel's prerogative to support (or not) whatever they want in their nation

National Post is garbage so I will not trust anything from them. But I wouldn't be surprised if they were losing support, they haven't been able to make substantial changes as war seems perpetual.

Yeah, yeah, I know.....you guys haven't trusted a paper since the Workers' Daily went out of business (insert rolled eyes here)

But that aside, the NP did not do the poll.

This question was asked in a poll conducted by a “highly respected” Palestinian pollster for David Pollock, a Middle East expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

I think you are correct however. When the unfortunate Palestinians elected Hamas to a four-year term (in 2006) they were voting against corrupt Fatah........and I do not believe they knew what they were letting themselves in for.

New elections (IF Hamas lets them happen fairly) will tell the tale.

So why stick your neck out for someone who will never return the favour?

And, like it or not, it is the prerogative of every fair-minded person, Jew or Gentile, to criticise the Israeli government's heavy-handed approach towards Gaza and it's civilians. Waging war seldom if ever achieves an embracing by the victims of that war of the "rightness" of the campaign; indeed, it more often than not sets the conditions for the next conflict.

Sure it is.

PS - I removed the self-serving and heavily biased diatribe at the end of that sentence... Now it's something that is a little more reasonable

Ummm.. For the sake of clarity, who is the victim here?

Lets see the photos of those 1500 strikes on cities.
So that 650,000 Arabs they exiled in 1948 was 'them fighting back' was it. Afraid not, naked armed aggression against an unarmed people, just like today.

That is why there are so many UN condemnations, because they are such law abiding people. They can't even fund their own nation without an endless stream of donations. If OPEC could give money directly to Palestine they would be many times richer than Israel but Israel likes to steal all the donations meant for Gaza. A true look into a people who lack any morals at all. Easy to see as they attract people like you.

It didn't take long for you to prove you don't know what reason is.
The poll forgot to ask if they would prefer to work in Gaza, typical retard slant and that is why Colpy latched onto it without understanding what the sentence even said.

Israel uses sophisticated attack jets and naval vessels to bomb densely-crowded refugee camps, schools, apartment blocks, mosques, and slums to attack a population that has no air force, no air defense, no navy, no heavy weapons, no artillery units, no mechanized armor, no command in control, no army… and calls it a war. It is not a war, it is murder.

"This isn't a war," said the artilleryman. "It never was a war, any more than there's war between man and ants." War of the Worlds- H.G.Wells
