Nope. Some Christians believe that homosexuality is wrong and that the Bible backs up their claim (ITN even posted a link backing up his claim). Gerry believes because Jesus specifically didn't say homosexuality is wrong, then it isn't wrong. I've just expanded "Gerry Logic" to other things

No you have not. You are off topic.

Yes I have. Your concerns with me being off topic are off topic.

I can keep posting or maybe I will take a break and laugh and quite a good laugh it will be – it keeps you away from other members. You know, the ones on your list.
I consider it a service – Akin to an infestation of Nuisance.
Like when a mosquito lands on you.

Of course I can be a hypocrite, on occasion, but not as often as some.
Now I will go for a really good laugh.
Can you hear me.

Care to answer the OP - direct question = a clear on topic response.

I have. Jesus did not specifically say homosexuality is bad. He didn't say bestiality, pedophilia or a whole host of other things are bad? Do you think that because Jesus didn't specifically say pedophilia is bad, followers of Christ should accept it?

Do you think that is a reasonable question?

I thought Gerry's point was that nominal Christians using biblical citations to justify condemning homosexuality isn't a legitimate argument. There are lots of things Jesus didn't say anything about, so we can't conclude anything about what Jesus thought of them, and neither presumably what modern Christians should necessarily think of them, we have to figure some things out without reference to scripture. Not everything we need to make choices about is covered in there. Tossing pedophilia and bestiality and other such things into the mix is a red herring, or more formally, the fallacy of irrelevance.

Most homosexuals were alter boys in the Catholic church and the priests were followers of Jesus which proves that Jesus was a homosexual but the women’s group says Jesus was a lesbian.

Really? Altered boys? I was an ALTAR boy, I never had a Priest even shake my hand in a funny way.

For about 40 years now they've been called ALTAR servers when girls joined in and belive me Jack, those girls weren't gay. Ohhhhh no. :)

Cannot find where you answered Gerry. Could you help me out on that?

You responded to the post. Are you saying that you don't even bother reading posts that you respond to?

It isn't in my mind either. Using the Bible to justify anything isn't a legitimate argument. My point is that if you are to use the Bible, then there is an argument to be made that homosexuality is wrong and that is why Christians are split on the issue. To ignore the entirety of the Bible and focus only on what Jesus did not say is just plain silly.
