Sure would have made it easier to find body panels today....

I once saw a Corvette that had collided with a large truck, The Corvette broke like a light bulb,
The only hint that identified what it was, was the little crossed flags that all Corvettes carry over the grille.

Corvettes were made of fiberglass. It shatters into powder. I saw the same thing downtown Montreal back in the 60s.
