Right now I'm I building up stamina to go out and shovel the damn thing. May as well wait for the snow plow to put in the snow pile across the end of the driveway so I can get all my swearing in at one time.

I'm sure you are not alone #Juan, perhaps you should move to Vernon, nice dry snow we have here and only a couple on inches so far. I too curse the damned windrows left by the plow, but they are unavoidable unless you can talk the operator into stopping at every driveway and getting out with a shovel. BE damn careful shovelling that wet stuff, you don't want to stall the pump.

it's not wet jlm, I just came in with my four cats, they were playing in it, dry and powdery, but
it's not cold now, and I think it is dissapearing fast, should be gone by dinner time, (hopefully).

Yes, curse the plow, but it's far better than having to shovel your way to work!

Not only have I cleared my own driveway, with wide-bladed shovels held in each hand, I run up and down the street clearing the snow from the road down to bare pavement! I believe I am saving the taxpayers of Eather Island a bundle! I have just applied for a property-tax rebate based on my actions signed by all the residents in the neighbourhood.

No snow here! I don't think we're supposed to be getting any for at least a week. Not bad.

I don't know what our total accumulation was in the last couple days, but I've shoveled my driveway (which somehow seems much much larger than it was before it snowed) a total of 3 times before the snowfall was done. I really need to learn how to use that snow blower sitting in my garage.

I just finished shoveling the driveway and the sidewalks. Took me an hour and fifteen minutes but the snow was very light. Even the snow bank left by the plow was easy to handle. Hey......maybe I'm getting stronger:roll::lol:

If you don't learn how to use it, move it my garage please. LOL.

You don't want one of those Karrie, they cost money for gas and pollute the air, besides shovelling is much healthier for you, builds up the biceps.

You're very lucky Talloola I remember January 1978, I was living on Mission Hill and working in Port Hardy. Courtenay got 51 cm. overnight and the airport was shut down for a week, Port Hardy got less than 5 cm. We were basically stranded in Port Hardy as the highway hadn't opened north of Sayward at that time, only logging roads and a good 6 hour drive from Courtenay in good conditions. I was getting kind of worried about my trailer roof but by the time I got home finally one of the kids had most of it shovelled off.

hmmm wanna trade? One big strong shoveller for one big strong snowblower? hahaha

hhhhmmmm... I think I have to say that I gotta keep Mulk. He's more versatile. lol.

Right now he's off fixing the neighbour's heat, for example. lol.

I did mine too, took me 15 minutes.

A couple years ago we got a foot of wet, heavy snow in one dump. From the street to our house is over seventy feet. That took me over three hours. That was one of the times when I promised myself a snowblower.

Heh heh heh no it's a nice sunny day here in Hogtown. Went to the beach for a stroll along the lake with The Guinness though there was a bit of a chill in the air. You poor left coasters all climate changing and what not. :p

It's raining here but the surrounding mountains in California are enjoying some new snow.

Hm I always wonder how people get to work Monday after pulling all those muscles on their first ski weekend..hehe.... (jealousy raising a few ugly thoughts).
