People were talking at the booth, and realized they weren't racist homophobes.
They were racist homophobe lite.
You should vote NDP, you are as ill informed about true conservatives as they are.

It's a joke. Geez, don't get all PC on me now.
I might vote for a true conservative if any put themselves forward for election. These current Conservatives, whatever they are, aren't conservatives in any meaningful sense, that's just the label they use. Might as well call themselves Gazorgumplatzers for all the bearing it has on reality. True conservatives are people like Robert Stanfield, Peter Lougheed, Joe Clark, Dalton Camp... People of principle and honour and compassion. These guys just look like thugs to me, and except for the PM, not very smart ones.
as NDP move into statistical tie with Tories: poll
Only a month into the leadership of Thomas Mulcair, the NDP has moved into a statistical tie with the federal Conservatives in the latest Nanos poll, while Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s leadership ratings have drastically dropped.
The NDP surge comes as the Conservative government has taken hits on the bungled F-35 file and the robocall scandal.
The Tories led at 34.7%, closely followed the NDP at 32.4%, while the Liberals trail at 23.3% in the poll. The Greens and the Bloc Quebecois come in at 4.2% and 3.9%, respectively. Almost 19% of voters said they were undecided in the poll taken between April 13 and April 18.

It's not a joke. There are idiots who actually believe that bull crap. And PC is what I am.
Joe Clark has about as much principle as a burned down reform school.
Thanks to Joe Clark stabbing this guy in the back.

The Country ended up with this guy for Prime Minister.

Principle my ass.
Evidently you haven't paid much attention to Joe Clark, or heard him speak, or met him. Maybe he thought your first "this guy" was a foolish demagogue lacking tact and discretion, which seems a fairly accurate assessment to me, and I dunno who your second "this guy" represented by the exclamation mark inside the yellow triangle is. Gotta be either Trudeau or Mulroney, which is a bit of a "lesser evil" choice, but I'd take Trudeau over Mulroney any day.Joe Clark has about as much principle as a burned down reform school.

People saw what their polices were.
Wow, two red points from Walter. I must be right.
Wow, two red points from Walter. I must be right.
And that is why the NDP will never form a government.
If you are not to the right of the Tea Party you will get a neg from Walter.
I hope you don't have to eat your words.................things don't look too good for either Christy or the Conservatives in B.C. right now.
I was speaking federally. Here in BC (AKA lala land) people often vote against their best interests to spite themselves. Either that or so many did way too much drugs and forgot how bad things were both times we had dippers destroying the economy.
My mother's Conservatives and these mouthy thugs today have nothing in common. Today's gang is just that - all about the money and power and all for their own....
So things are pretty much the same?Funny I heard the same Rhetoric back in the late 70's.
