I don't know how ****ed up the world is, but if you think Harper is my mentor, then you're more ****ed up than one would think possible.

You are the one defending building more jails, that makes the world a f ucked place for these young unwanted kids……:p

No according to your mentor Harper lets bring on the parade of how important life is before birth, and after birth lets pick and choose whose kid qualifies to go through education and the ones that don’t qualify through them on the streets on Societies door step and if society shows anxiety lets through these unwanted souls in a prison room and the problem has gone away………………What a f ucked up world….that is…..a bunch of hurtles self serving hypocrites….No wander you se so many multiple murder suicides, because of this f ucking elitist attitudes from Governments like the Conservatives.. Phony religious righteous fools.:roll::roll:

You see Risus, maybe that child became a criminal because his mother told him to do so, just being sarcastic, no the mother did not want the kid after he was born and the kid found a place called the STREET, and the street has many lost soles. Harper instead of building educational facilities, he is looking to build jails, in order to house these lost soles…. When a guy claims he is prolife particularly Harper, and instead of education he talks punishment, man oh man, talking about a man with out a mission……………..

I think you are a man without a mind. Every life deserves a chance, you can't play God...

And education is part of the punishment.

drives me crazy they real problems never seem to call for real solutions in this country.

Real problem: kids shooting kids and anyone in the way in big cities..and some no so big cities.

Real solution: have them in jail for long enough that they are no on the streets shooting..duh!

After that you can talk all you want about education/programs etc, but the first need to to stop the crime. You don't go to a country in the middle of a war and start building homes. You stop the enemy first.

Second to all this, there is a culture that has grown out of all this guns and gangs. A culture that is not solved by after school programs or more playgrounds. I spent a few years living at Jane and Finch in Toronto, many parks with trails and playgrounds, parks with swings, basketball nets in open school yards..never a soul using any of them..NEVER!! More social funding will not work..the programs right now don't work...Banning guns that are already banned doesn't work, they don't care.
A culture of honour and disrespect is all that they live and die for...after hours pottery classes just don't compete

Youth offences are actually down for the last three years, Mr Harper is grinding a tired old organ again. Youth crime is barely dedectable in the glare of white collar crime, go ahead add it up, street punks versus bankers===========Bankers 75 trillion dollars Punks 85 cents.
But will that fascist pig dare mention the criminals, you bet your ass he won't.

How does addressing the problem after the fact--that is after the crime has been committed--stop the crime from happening? Consider violent crimes. You put that one kid away longer. All that does is keep the crime rate flat. It does nothing to stop the next generation of kids from doing the same thing.

Real solutions to reducing violent crime target kids before they commit crimes, not after. If the idea is we're fine with the crime rate now, then by all means go one step further, put them away and charge them as adults...
