I don't. I'm not you, Gh or one of the other usual suspects.

Just a word of advice there Juan, if you're going to troll, don't troll people that have historically made you cry like a baby.

Oh please pumpkin. You go crying to the Mods, and Kreskin comes along and tries to take me down a couple pegs.

Don't play shy, it's ok little man. Your type is usually pretty weak when push comes to shove.

You should probably stick to posting recipes and bigoted idiocy about natives. It's more your speed.

And since you brought family into it...

That wasn't my parents crying, that was your wife, when I turned her out on the corner.

How would you know how small juan's junk is Gh?

Rhetorical Gh, I don't really want to know.

I think this topic, whatever, has sunk below the level where I want to be involved with it.

Here's the timeline stumpy.

Also, voting against increases to the military is not showing a lack of anything. It is showing that the NDP, which I personally support, feels that our military should be for defense only and therefore does not require the moneys or hardware to go out of country.

Voting for the freeloaders explains a lot.

Of course it does, cause we gotta be out there killing anything and anyone that doesn't think like we do.
How does you voting for the freeloader party, so your pogey checks keep growing and coming playing into that silly comment?

As we are yours.
Ya, we already know you have an invisible friend Abtfet. Hopefully this one doesn't commit suicide too.

Nope, never said that. I said that picking up a Minister to fly him somewhere is not the same thing as searching for say, fisherman who capsized at position X and have been in the water for 3 hours.

I really think this is false equivalence. I really don't think the military is so inept that the choice is to train on the roles they are expected to perform, or transport a Minister in order to keep the hours up. If that is the actual dichotomy, then our government is seriously mishandling the Defense file.

Just to add, I should be clear. I'm actually fine with them using the Challenger jets, that are intended to transport VIP's. I'm not fine with flying hours on search and rescue helicopters being used for transporting VIP's.

I agree with you to a point. I worked around the SAR squadron at Comox for a year and a half and did get to talk to the air crews a bit. They are required to log a certain amount of air time each month and since it is a 24/7/365 operation there is always a crew in the ready room and the air craft must also be tested on a regular basis so rather than fly in circles they might as well fly someone around that would otherwise charter. Especially if say a Minister can get to Comox on the DND sched and then use a SAR chopper or Buffalo to dump him up coast somewhere. No doubt they system can and is abused as well.

Tacky? It's intellectually dishonest to completely evade a question, and instead use it as a mean to claim another member doesn't support the troops.

And in the larger picture, it's intellectually dishonest to equate wanting a smaller military with not supporting the troops. It's on the same level of intellectually dishonesty as calling them unpatriotic, or un-Canadian or something.

Since when has intellect or honesty been a prerequisite for politics.
History has shown that both the Liberals and the dippers have been against adequately funding our military. Some of the crap they have to work with is truly embarrassing. The oldest junk I have to work with now is NEWER than the newest junk I had to fix for DND. They would often park equipment for months because there was no money left in the budget for parts.
I knew they were under funded but I never realized how badly until one day shortly after I started working there and walking through the headquarters building I cam across some poor guy that was packing a sword. That is how the Libs and dippers support the military.
