Well, there's the solutions to your "scary Muzzies invading Canaduh" problem. . .
I had an appointment with a Palestinian this AM. Must have been Gazan with a name like Yakob Abu Gazaleh. It was scary. He had a 100cc hypodermic that he crammed into my spine. I managed to walk away upright without a limp.

Best Christmas gift I could get from anyone.

Next month I have to see a Lebanese guy. He has sharp little knives. Could be even scarier.

Apparently Bibi Nutlessyahud isn't going to Poland for the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz.

He fears being arrested for war crimes.

A Pollack who can't go to Poland.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told MSNBC that the U.S. is "encouraged" by the prospects of a truce because Hamas is feeling pressure to come to the negotiating table. "The alternative" to a deal, Blinken said, is "an enduring Israeli occupation of Gaza, which we reject. And we reject it, among other reasons, because it's profoundly not in Israel's interest." After a deal, Blinken added, "the next thing to do will be" to finalize a "day-after plan," so "we know what fills in and takes the vacuum in Gaza."

Dozens of Jewish Organizations Spanning the Globe Call for Immediate Cease-fire in Gaza

Forty organizations from 15 countries signed a letter urging the Israeli government to 'to end the war, withdraw all Israeli forces from Gaza' in return for the hostages. For some, including the families of hostages, the move is too little too late

Houthi Missile Fired From Yemen Falls in Central Israel, Wounding 23; IDF: Interception Failed

A large crater several meters deep was formed at the impact site, a playground between residential buildings in Jaffa, south of Tel Aviv. Many residents reported they didn't have time to reach a bomb shelter, with a loud explosion heard mere seconds after sirens were activated

Iran through its Houthi proxies aren’t a friend of Saudi Arabia’s. I hear you there.

Canada’s weapons exports in 2023

High numbers driven by transfers to human rights violators

By Kelsey Gallagher

Published in The Ploughshares Monitor Autumn 2024

Each year, Global Affairs Canada (GAC) releases its Exports of military goods and technology report, which provides details on the Canadian military goods exported around the world. The most recent report covers the 2023 calendar year.

The report shows that Canada continues to transfer historically high levels of military goods abroad. The large numbers have been driven, in part, by exports to states with deplorable human rights records, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Israel.

Overview
As shown in the 2023 Exports of military goods and technology report, for that year Canada reported exports totaling $2.143 billion in military goods to non-U.S. destinations – a decrease of 2.8 per cent from 2022 ($2.204 billion) and almost 50 per cent less than Canada’s exports in 2019 ($4.308 billion), when these exports reached their peak.

The main driver of these exports continued to be Saudi Arabia. In recent years, this state has accounted for more than 50 per cent of non-U.S. exports. However, in 2023, Saudi Arabia imported $904.557 million in Canadian arms, 42.2 per cent of non-U.S. exports. In 2023, Canada also transferred arms totaling $1.238 billion – the largest such figure on record – to countries other than the United States and Saudi Arabia. This statistic illustrates that Canadian arms manufacturers are finding new markets and diversifying export destinations.

While last year’s total was lower than that of some recent years, it remains historically significant. It was substantially higher (61.8 per cent) than the total for other previous record-breaking years, including 2012 ($1.324 billion), and nearly double the total for the previous peak year, 2003 ($1.122 billion).

Weird that the term “West Bank” isn’t just used to describe that chunk of ground that Jordan annexed in 1948 that was on the West Bank of the Jordan River from the rest of Jordan. It is what it is.
The territory first emerged in the wake of the 1948 Arab–Israeli War as a region occupied and subsequently annexed by Jordan. It’s also weird that some can’t bring themselves to call “Jews” or “Israelis” Jews or Israelis and have to use the term “Zionists.” They are who they are.

So prove them wrong that is. Is Zionionism Antisemitism? Who and to what to degree of the many facets of Zionism are they willing to go? The lefty Jew version or the right wing version. What are the difference on what their brand of Zionism is? With no shortage of holy rollers calling themselves Zionists. Is antisemitic to discuss their views?

What have those currently in power stated about their vision for the future of Israel? Is it a one sandal fits all thing?

It's night and day. Currently the version founded on terrorism and theocratic "jew only" dictate is currently in power. They even hate fags. No alphabet skittles in their Israel.

Know your friends and know your enemy.

Prove who or what wrong? A rose is a rose. A Jew is a Jew. A spade is a spade. An Israeli is an Israeli. The West Bank is on the West Bank of the Jordan River & is the chunk of ground formerly annexed by Jordan in 1948…thus the name West Bank.
Is Zionionism Antisemitism?
Is a cat a dog? Is a boy a girl? Is an apple an orange because I say it is? I just find this whole pussyfooting around very disingenuous with hiding behind the term “Zionists” when it’s clearly not the term intended. If it’s Jewish people someone has a problem with….just spit it out. The PLO always used the term Zionists for Jews & Israelis…except when they didn’t, & just outright used the terms Jews or Israelis.

The double-speak has just gotten so old and tired. An illegal Alien isn’t an undocumented worker, he’s an illegal alien. Breastfeeding isn’t chest feeding, it’s breastfeeding, & so on and so forth.
Who and to what to degree of the many facets of Zionism are they willing to go?
If I already see the term “Zionist” in the same light as “Peoplekind,” playing that word game just validates the terms others hide behind. It doesn’t pass the smell test.

There’s no lack of the term Zionists thrown around when it’s really the same term Ali Khamenei uses to describe all Israelis, & I’m doubting he’s playing semantics games when using that term. It’s clearly understood who he’s referring to also.
Is antisemitic to discuss their views?
Discuss away, but just be honest about it. The double-speak is just tiring.

And yet, there they are. If I was part of the alphabet skittles team in the Middle East, I guess Israel would be the best bet to be able to live one’s life as normally as possible.
Know your friends and know your enemy.
Know who’s chewing on the other end of your submarine sandwich of terminology and their motivations. Zionists is the same term that Hamas uses to describe all Israelis. You can’t tell me that the term Zionists isn’t being used interchangeably with either Jews or Israelis by many (most?) on this topic.

Maybe you’re the exception. Maybe Serryah is the exception. Maybe both of you are the exceptions, but you’re not in good company, but in that the choice with doublespeak using the same terminology as the religious extremists and terrorists that don’t differentiate, & just hide behind the terminology to make it palatable for the media or UN or aid entities who’s teats they suckle upon.
