Here we go.....

Get your filthy hands off my desert!

Presumably, they have no problem with a bunch of terrorists lobbing bombs at passing ships. Should put all these protesters on a decommissioned cruise ship and park it in front of Yemen.

Iranically…Iran is criticizing Israel for fighting back against Hamas in Gaza, and criticizing Israel fighting back against Hezbollah firing rockets into Israel from Syria, after the Houthi’s failed to get their Rockets all the way to Israel, and instead accidentally fired upon Jordan… so they resorted to piracy in and around the Red Sea….Iran Iranically is criticizing the UK & US from also fighting back against Houthi pirates….Because ….Isreal or the USA or the UK “will cause political uncertainty” in the region (?) leading to a larger conflict?

Really! Seriously! Iran….Who is backing, supplying, funding, supporting, training, outfitting, providing intelligence to, etc…Hamas, Hezbollah, & the Houthi’s among others…perpetuating after initiating the goat rodeo? Since Hamas’ October 7 attacks on Israel and the Israeli offensive in Gaza that followed, Iran’s so-called axis of resistance — a network of Shia militias that span four Middle Eastern countries — has been activated from one end of the region to the other….but the UK & Israel & the US are causing political instability and strife and the potential for a wider conflict in the region.
Hezbollah entered daily confrontations with Israeli forces on the Lebanon-Israel border. Houthi rebels launched a series of attacks on commercial ships and Western military vessels in the Red Sea, a major artery for international trade. Iranian-backed forces in Iraq and Syria launched dozens of attacks aimed at US military positions in those countries, leading to a number of close calls.
So, Israel, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America…are a bunch of bastards. This is the point where I would usually attach pretty much any random Middle East news thread pertaining to Israel &/or Hamas.

You'd rather Iran decide to make this an all out world war instead of them fighting by proxies?

I was impressed by their hypocrisy & found it Iranic…I mean Ironic. They’re attached at the groin to all the terrorist groups that start with the letter “H” and a handful that aren’t/don’t. Modern day Gaddafi’s complaining about people fighting back against their attacks through their puppets.

Are they working through the alphabet of Terrorist Organizations, ‘cuz if so Iran itself would come before Islamic Jihadists…

To put it simply and bluntly - well, duh.

But considering that Iran COULD be taking it more personally, I'm impressed with their restraint so far.

Iran COULD be taking what more personally? That all Muslims aren’t Shiites of the Torch flame variety? That they haven’t been able to already bulldoze their neighbours into their version of the same (but different) religion? That Alli-Bin-Hilly-Skywalker isn’t accepted as the only one able to correctly interpret their God book?
They've been sort of distracted since the UN gave them the human rights portfolio.

Oh…ahhh… Saudi Arabia (Sunnis) & Iran (Shiites) in their pissing war with each other…via proxies…and America removes Saddam Hussain (Iraq) creating a power vacuum for even more arsehole proxies for them to use to fight with each other.

Is that what Iran would be taking offence with? Iran was attacked by Iraq, and then America removed Iran’s enemy (Saddam)? America, pack of bastards that they were.

{I vaguely remember the Iranian Revolution (the 1979 one) as a child of 10, with the rabid protesters and the American hostages in their own embassy, and gunfire into crowds. Went on daily in the news for about a year when the news was only 6am, 12:30pm, & 11pm daily for a 1/2 hour}
In its aspiration to fight back against the perceived threat of foreign corruptions and to achieve a theocratic and nationalist restoration of idealized past glory, power, status, and self-worth, his revolutionary Islamic ideology has made Iran into a conspicuous “grievance state.”
Eh, what the hell.

Guess what.

I laughed.
I think they use cranes now. Portable. Dramatic. Multipurpose.

During the Six-Day War which was fought between Israel and a coalition of Arab states (primarily Egypt, Syria, and Jordan) from 5 to 10 June 1967, the IDF captured Gaza.
1705218992819.png

Israel held Gaza under occupation until 2005, when it withdrew troops and settlers. In 2006, Hamas won a surprise landslide victory in Palestinian legislative elections – the last polls to be held in Gaza. The Islamist militant group, whose charter calls for Israel’s “obliteration,” has controlled the enclave since then. The “River to the Sea” thing. Anyway…

Israel never relinquished control of most of the coastal enclave’s perimeter, except for the border between Egypt & Gaza. That’s the Philadelphi Corridor, a 14km strip of land that serves as a buffer zone on the border between Egypt and Gaza. Smugglers have long turned to the enclave’s underground tunnel network to bring in commercial goods, people and weapons – a key reason why Israel aims to cut it off from Egypt.

Israel argues that the blockade is vital to protect its citizens from Hamas – an argument that has gathered force since the militant group’s devastating attacks in Israel on October 7, which killed 1,200 people, according to Israeli authorities.

So now what? The two state solution?

With what boundaries? Are Egypt or Jordan or Syria willing to cough up any territory based on whatever boundaries based on whatever dates might be chosen? (Missing above is Israel as the start of negotiations with Hamas, Palestinian, Hezbollah, Iran I guess, most if not all of the neighbours, the UN, Western Collage Campuses, protesters (paid or not) in various other countries not in the Middle East, other terrorist organizations, etc…)

Toronto man accused of displaying terrorist flag at protest
Author of the article:postmedia News

A 41-year-old Toronto man is facing a charge of public incitement of hatred after allegedly displaying a terrorist flag at a downtown protest.

Toronto Police allege Maged Sameh Hilal Al Khalaf marched in the Queen St. W. and Bay St. area on Sunday while waving a flag of an organization listed as a terrorist group by Public Safety Canada.

Police would not reveal which flag the protester was allegedly carrying.

Al Khalaf has a court appearance scheduled for next month.

“Hate and intimidation can have no space in our city and we have been unwavering in our commitment to restore the sense of public safety, and not tolerate behaviour that crosses the line to criminal activity,” Chief Myron Demkiw said in a statement.

“Our officers have worked tirelessly to manage 308 demonstrations … exponentially more than any other city in Canada.”

Demkiw, who attended the Toronto Police Services Board monthly meeting Thursday morning, said demonstrations have escalated in the city, particularly on the Avenue Rd. bridge over Hwy. 401.

Those protests pose a public safety threat that has left many in the surrounding Jewish community feeling intimidated, he added.

“Moving forward, demonstrations or the congregation of individuals on the Avenue Rd. overpass will not be permitted. People can expect to be arrested if necessary,” Demkiw said.

SickKids suspends second staffer for gross, cruel anti-Semitic remarks

Talk about sick.

For the second time in a few months, officials at Toronto’s SickKids Hospital have placed a staff member on leave while they investigate allegations of supporting Hamas and creepy anti-Semitic words that would be considered ugly in any setting, let alone a place that is supposed to be focused on treating children.

Last time it was a doctor. This time it’s an interfaith clergy member.

We thank and credit Rick Firth of Honest Reporting Canada for bringing this situation to light.

Speaking at Palestine House, Imam Ayman Al Taher was praising Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and his prediction “by 2027 Israel will not exist.” He went on to say, “We know how Allah has honoured him. Four rockets. I’m not sure how many millions each rocket cost to give him an honourable martyrdom.”

The imam knew what he was saying was out of line, but said it anyway.

“I know I am going to get myself in trouble now for speaking on social media,” he was quoted in the Honest Reporting Canada story as saying. “Who cares, because if we do not get ourselves into trouble, we will not be getting victory.”

Imagine the level of treachery one would have to conjure to celebrate Hamas – the architect of the barbaric slaughter of 1,200 Jews on Oct. 7, 2023.

SickKids is having none of it and has taken action.

In a statement, the hospital said, “Concerns about comments made by a member of the Spiritual and Religious Care Department at SickKids related to the war in Israel and Gaza and shared on social media have been brought to our attention.

“We of course take this extremely seriously and are investigating as per SickKids’ Code of Conduct. The individual is on a paid leave while we investigate.”

The Sun has reached out to the imam for any comments he would like to make and will add those to the coverage, should he decide to answer.

Michael Mostyn, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada, called the decision to suspend Ayman Al Taher an “encouraging first step,” but added the imam should be discharged if the hospital’s investigation determines that he was indeed supporting Hamas and using anti-Semitic terms.

“How terrifying is it for Jewish patients at the hospital to learn that this so-called interfaith clergyman would possibly be in support of the Hamas savages who stormed into Israel on Oct. 7 and murdered more than 1,200 innocent Jewish people?” Mostyn asked. “It is unfathomable that there would be anyone in support of these barbarians, let alone someone in this position, who is paid to help and counsel people of all faiths, including those of the Jewish faith. If the allegations about this person are true, SickKids must sever ties with him.”

Meanwhile, it is interesting how someone like Don Cherry is cancelled right away for his “you people” comment about not wearing poppies on Remembrance Day, without any hearing, but there is such kid gloves used on those who spout anti-Semitic hate.

There seems to be a different standard applied to those who spout anti-Jewish hate.

Back in November, SickKids also put on paid leave anesthesiologist Dr. Christian Zaarour, who also leads classes at the University of Toronto.

Christian Zaarour, an anesthesiologist at SickKids, is being investigated by the hospital after some anti-Israel comments he posted on Instagram. PHOTO BY POST BY @HONESTREPCANADA
As the Sun reported at the time, Zaarour’s Instagram post said, “We consider Israel to be absolute evil. There is nothing worse than Israel. If Israel and the devil fight each other, we will stand with the devil.”

Of course this is a big problem for SickKids in that its focus is on the heath of children and not religion or politics.

“All who come to SickKids are entitled to be treated with respect, professionalism and feel safe,” the hospital said in a statement.

Comments from staffers saying they will support the devil over Israel or hold views that Israel will soon cease to exist do not make Jewish patients feel that way.

Sources say the hospital is taking both of these matters seriously and working on addressing them.
