So what they just showed they are not Hypocrites if you don't believe it don't say it.
They may or may not be spiritual and who care whether someone is a Godless
creator doesn't make them less human.
It seems to me some are still finding wedge issues to divide people and that is
what got Harper defeated wedge issues and the slow obsession with making us
all somehow moral and religiously correct according to his set of morals.
My concern is they do a good job. And what about all those moral folks who were
rebuked sent to jail or forced to spend more time with their families er resign.

The oath or the swearing should be by God alone, and not by anyone else like Jesus or anyone else.
The oath indicates the sanctification of God's name, which makes the oath more serious, and requires the observing of their oaths.
Moreover, if anyone swears by God and then he breaks his swearing without any justification, implies that God may punish such breaker of the oath, if he is a liar in his oath or swearing.

Let's just see how well this country does without God helping 50% of our ministers. Seems like a pretty good test. If we notice no negative effects we can do away with the whole position entirely.
Gotta wonder about the atheist press that made such a big deal out of members of parliament taking the oath in their own personal way as much as the members of parliament who think the words meant more than the intent of the oath....

Everyone is guilty of "wedge issues." The Liberals used a very popular wedge issue of raising taxes on the "rich" while making cuts for the "middle class" (even though my middle class taxes are going up with these so called "cuts")

it a religion for the census takers.
I grew up with the faith knew all the names and the meanings as taught to me.

is re-written time and again( as all the Holy Books are) to please some fat a*s
church leader. I live my life the way I want to live it.

decades winning time and again like the Montreal Canadians used to is just
too much I guess
