Your Everyday Freedom is Not Free, Our Military Paid For it.

The 1917-18 conscription crisis bitterly divided French- and English-speaking Canadians and doomed the federal Conservative Party to spend most of the 20th century in opposition. It marked the point when leading Quebec intellectuals stopped believing in the dream of Canada as the union of two founding cultures. It sowed the seeds of resentment that 50 years later would sprout into the Quebec independence movement.

On 2 August 1940, Houde publicly urged the men of Quebec to ignore the national registration measure introduced by the federal government.[3] Three days later, he was placed under arrest by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on charges of sedition, and then confined without trial[4] in internment camps in Petawawa, Ontario and Minto, New Brunswick until 1944. Upon his release on 18 August 1944, he was greeted by a cheering crowd of 50,000 Montrealers,[5] and won back his job as Montreal mayor in 1944's civic election.

I wonder what military "Mayor Pork on your fork" was referring too?

I wonder if your middle name is Vidkun Quisling? You are so eager to surrender! Lining up quietly did not save Jews from Nazis. Obeying orders from Khymer Rouge did not reduce the Cambodian casualties. Doing as instructed by ISISD did not get sex slaves freed, nor did it stop them from committing a host of other atrocities.

You need to grow up and start thinking about making sure we are safe here.

NO NEED TO GO LOOKING FOR TROUBLE AND CERTAINLY NO NEED TO SPEND OUR MONEY TO IMPORT IT EITHER!

That you do not understand this- and neither do your LIE-beral overlords is a testament to your utter lack of understanding!

You need to turn off the internet for awhile, or maybe seek a bit of help.

I'm a card carrying conservative, minus the paranoid fear mongering.

I'm not ready to throw an entire race or religion under the bus.

That's what Hitler did.

In honor of Remembrance Day:

It is the VETERAN , not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the VETERAN , not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the VETERAN , not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the VETERAN , not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the VETERAN , not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the VETERAN , not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the VETERAN ,
who salutes the Flag,

It is the VETERAN ,
who serves under the Flag,

Realize that unless you are directly descended from Canadian natives, the majority of veterans even during the first world war were refugees or immigrants. I believe we lost about 66,000 young men during the first war world. The native indians lost many during that war as well. Worse, to join the Canadian forces they had to give up their band status.

The Haavara Agreement (Hebrew: הסכם העברה Translit.: heskem haavara Translated: "transfer agreement") was an agreement between Nazi Germany and Zionist German Jews signed on 25 August 1933. The agreement was finalized after three months of talks by the Zionist Federation of Germany, the Anglo-Palestine Bank (under the directive of the Jewish Agency) and the economic authorities of Nazi Germany. It was a major factor in making possible the migration of approximately 60,000 German Jews to Palestine in 1933–1939.[1]

Funny everyone loves to pin it all on Hitler.

Ten questions to the Zionists

Operation Paperclip was a secret program of the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA) in which more than 1,600 German scientists, engineers, and technicians, such as Wernher von Braun and his V-2 rocket team, were recruited in post-Nazi Germany and taken to the U.S. for government employment, primarily between 1945 and 1959; many were former members and some were former leaders of the Nazi Party.

Funny, there is a lot of real history they don't teach in school..it would hurt the agenda if they did.

BTW if you think those rocket scientists were about going to the moon...
( and not about nukes, global hegemony and the US petrodollar)
...have I got some lunar swamp land for you to today!
Just speak to my representative hillary over there, and she will set you up with some uranium!

EVERY one of the ISMS has been funded and turned a monster profit for BANKERS

More likely the children of immigrants . How many generations must one live in Canada to not be called an immigrant ? When are we ceding our country back to our watered down native communities ?

Refugees & immigrants become Canadians right from acceptance. That means refugees & immigrants are Canadians from day one. It does not mean this was originally our land and that we should act like dogs in the manger when taking in those deserving of succor.

Uhm, no. In point of fact, most of those who came to Canada did not 'immigrate' they simply moved from one part of the empire to another. This was true for all the English speaking people, at any rate. They never lost their British citizenship and never gained any other kind until 1910, when the British citizenship act first declared there was such a creature. However, they were still British citizens until the 1947 citizenship act.

Refugees & immigrants become Canadians right from acceptance.

No, they don't. They still have to qualify as citizens, and even after they do, they're only citizens in name, not necessarily in spirit or culture or values.

It does not mean this was originally our land and that we should act like dogs in the manger when taking in those deserving of succor.

Why should we take in all the world's poor and unwashed? How does this help us?
There was a time when our ancestors came here true, but they didn't get a welfare card or put up in a hotel or a house by the government when they arrived. They weren't given food or clothing nor health care. They came, they worked, or they died and went home. That is simply not the case today so there is no honest comparison to be made.

Don't they have to be in the country for 5 years or am I wrong about that?
