That being said, about 80% of Canadians want these types of weapons banned and that was before what happened in N.S.

Just sayin.
B.S. 80% of Canadians are not even aware they elected a king .

Good.

Take it to Parliament, you know the representatives of the people, to be studied, discussed, heard in committee, and voted on.

The current situation is simply anti-democratic.

But I understand that all the lefties love to subvert democracy in favour of ideology.

Trudeau forbids website, Facebook group, and locksmith as part of firearm ban

Justin Trudeau’s sweeping firearm ban on Friday included two websites and a Facebook page. In the government’s haste to ban 1,500 firearms in Canada, they literally included “AR15.Com ARFCOM,” “AR15.Com AR15.Com,” and “AR15 Chatterbox CB-15.”
ARFCOM is a slang term used by members of the firearms community for AR15.com.
Published widely, including on the official Government of Canada news site the Canada Gazette, not one media outlet who was allowed in to the Prime Minister’s morning briefing has questioned the presence of social media and websites on an official executive order of the Trudeau government.

There was so much effort into the list of banned firearms that they managed to include what appears to be two websites and a Facebook group.

The Facebook page in question has noted the fact that the Canadian Government has officially banned the transfer, sale, transport, and use of their social media page. The website AR15.com does not yet seem aware that they are officially banned by the Government of Canada – a high honour.
In addition to the AR-15 fan website and random Facebook page that have both now been classified as “prohibited military-style assault weapons,” the massive list also includes “Bartlett Enterprises 1202009.” Bartlett Enterprises is a locksmithing company based in Saint John. It is not clear if Justin Trudeau intended to add a business that cuts keys and installs deadbolts to the list of federally prohibited firearms.
Justin Trudeau's ham-fisted ban has been criticized by Canada's Official Opposition, with leadership candidates of the Conservative Party claiming that laws of this type should be brought to Parliament for debate and review, especially given the Liberals are governing with the minority government. Instead of taking their time to get this right, Justin Trudeau's Administration opted for a unilateral implementation without even proofreading the massive regulatory change.
Although it may be embarrassing for the government, it is not clear if Trudeau will be amending the executive order. If they do not, the website and Facebook account may forever remain classified as prohibited firearms in Canada.

Can we get selfies of you guys with your guns before they get taken away? Lol

Sorry to burst your bubble, but none here. I have no use for guns, have never owned one, never will.

The point here is that Trudeau and his gang are going about this all wrong as usual. Besides not being democratic, they are taking the easy way, the one that makes them look like they are doing something to the sheep that follow them. Instead of dealing with the criminals who have the illegal guns, they endevor to make all guns illegal in hopes that it will quell some of the crime. It won't do a damn thing. The hoodrats will still have access to their illegal guns, will still be shooting up the place just like before. The only people that will be put out by this are the law abiding tax payers.......

Typical Liberal thinking.....thinking all is a bed of roses and the problems are easilly fixed. Unwilling, as usual of doing any heavy lifting. This bullshit keeps their faithful happy and thats all that matters.

Yeah, it’s probably 90%.

I posted in OB's BS thread that a poll was done in 9 major urban centers in Canada and 52% support a ban, If Rural areas were to be included, support would drop well below 50% support. Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver had over 50% support in the heartland, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, and Edmonton it was well below 50% support.

UCP firearms motion first step in firewall against feds' meddling

Good looks like the Alberta government is getting some backbone.

Albertan's might be exempt from Sock Boys stupid gun ban..

Hope other provinces do the same.

Still think it's time for Alberta to call Canada quits
Huh....I wonder if this just opened up an industry in Alberta for the "Safe Storage of Firearms" inside Alberta's borders for Canadians in other jurisdictions that happen to (two days ago) legally own one of the 1500 different rifles on Trudeau's hit list? You've got two years to ship your rifle to a storage site in Alberta, and for a low annual fee, it can sit until the Liberals are turfed and these new Liberal gun laws are scrapped and then they can be shipped back home???

Sorry to say, that poll was on a ban of ALL firearms, not the current ban.
