Summer Snow Falling In Montana, Idaho And Wyoming

DENVER (CBS4) – An unusually cold late August storm system is bringing a chilly rain and some high altitude snow to parts of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

Summer snow was showing up on the Cody Bowl cam at Jackson Hole Monday morning. (credit: jacksonhole.com)

The National Weather Service says as much as 4-8 inches could fall in elevations above 9,000 feet in the mountains of Montana and Wyoming.

Some areas have been placed under a Winter Weather Advisory.

I'm pretty sure 2 WW's that cost 100M Gentiles their lives is the greatest scam of the last 200 years or so. Anybody need the links??

Gaviscon can't grasp that degree of information.

Another one who believes you can have EM without the E.

There are so many who will not do the widely available research about the electric universe. They all have a great shocking surprise coming for them. I,ve been particularly interested in electric magma this past year primarily because of the volcanic uptic of late and it,s direct correlation with reduced planetary electromagnetic fields. And just lately standing waves and thier application to earthquake prediction. Damn good reading. Especially EZ Water.

August 27th, 2018 by gripped | Posted in Mountain, News, Rockies, Routes
The snow has started to fall in the high alpine of the Canadian Rockies with a dusting visible around the town of Banff.
Farther north, IFMGA mountain guide Marc Piche reported about the 15 centimetres of snow on the Mountain Condition Report, “The new snow is bonding well and got a bit moist when the sun came out in the afternoon.
“The many open crevasses were still visible with the small amount of snow but the glacier travel can be a bit challenging in spots where the glaciers are very open.”
Piche posted the below photo of the glacier leading up to the A2 Col between Mount Athabasca and Mount Andromeda.
Snow in the Rockies is common in late August with many alpine rock routes falling out of conditions by early September.
It’s almost ice climbing season!
If you’re planning on heading into the alpine, plan accordingly.

What makes you thing the sun has a bigger effect on earth that our molten core that sends hot stuff to the surface through volcanoes and 40,000 miles of undersea rifts.

Around 252 millions years ago life on Earth collapsed in a unprecedented fashion as more than 96 percent of marine species and 70 percent of land species disappeared. The cause of this severe extinction has been a mystery, until now.

Episode 3 - Planet of Fire 250 million years ago, 95% of life was wiped off the face of Earth in the biggest extinction event ever. But what was responsible? Back then, our planet was a very different place. Millions of years before the era of dinosaurs, creatures such as Dicynodonts and Gorgonopsians roamed the land, while the oceans too teemed with life. Then, in the blink of a geological eye, everything changed. Life itself was almost completely wiped out in what is known as the Permian extinction. Travelling to locations such as South Africa, California, and Iceland, the experts discover that the volcanic activity of the Siberian Traps led to the release of deadly gases from beneath the sea and rises in Earth's temperature. This turbocharged global warming brought drought and a breakdown in the food cycle, with even the strongest animals eventually succumbing to the conditions.

That sounds a tad cold.

I could live with North America turning into the land of 'fire and ice' running N/S through, wait for it, Winnipeg. New center of the earth, who could have seen that one coming?

It isn,t getting warm stupid.

You must live in a cave. I understand underground temperatures are fairly constant. Anyone who lives above ground, however, knows that it is warmer now than it was 30 years ago. Why don't you poke your head out and take a look?

Exactly what has that to do with modern global warming? I've watched every James Burke documentary BTW. He is one of my favourite authors and TV personalities.

So are you telling me that the rest of the heavenly bodies in the universe and the medium they are embedded in have no effect on earth?
Space is not empty. It is full. It is a conducting medium of variable regions.

Maybe you should have been an astronomer; you know so much more than those who normally study astrophysics.

No, I do not know more than those who normally study astrophysics. I don,t read much of the officially sanctioned science of astrophysics. Much of that science is deeply flawed. I adhere to the Electrically powered universe theory which explain the little bright dots in the sky much better than the Einstienian lunatics. Nothing happens in the heavens nor on earth that is disconected or isolated from the universal electromagnetic medium. Lava is plasma. Your own body is an electromagnetic organism.

ug 29, 2018 What powers coronal mass ejections?
According to a recent press release, solar flares are driven by magnetized loops of plasma. The magnetic fields in the “magnetic flux ropes” experience “reconnection events” in which the field lines break and then reconnect, causing explosions of “magnetic energy.” Some of that energy comes from “…secondary shocks from powerful electrical currents and accelerated plasmas trailing in the CME’s wake.”
No one knows what “magnetic reconnection” is. It is used to describe observations, but it lacks content. It is similar to the phrase “gravitational attraction”: an unknown phenomenon causes matter to exert attraction over distance, but the nature of that attractive force remains obscure. There is another problem with the idea of magnetic field lines breaking and then reconnecting: magnetic field lines are not “things,” they are schematic representations used to plot magnetic fields. They are no more real than lines of latitude or longitude.
Coronal arches and loops rise up from the Sun’s surface and penetrate its plasma sheath, or double layer region. Those powerful currents of electric charge form secondary magnetic fields that surround the loops. If the charge flow grows too strong, the double layers explode, interrupting the charge flow. The sudden discharge is what causes solar flares and CMEs.
In an Electric Universe based on electrodynamic principles and not electrostatic models, celestial bodies are immersed in plasma and are connected by circuits. The Sun is electrically connected to the galaxy, so it is an unstable charged object seeking equilibrium with its environment. Electric charge flows into the Sun from its galactic circuit, so it is in a constant state of flux.
In 1964, Jacobsen and Carlqvist suggested that double layers caused the release of stored electromagnetic energy on the Sun. That idea was further refined by Alfvén and Carlqvist in 1967. Later, Carlqvist postulated that electric fields could accelerate charged particles with up to 10^14 electron volts per unit charge.
Double layers develop on the Sun as electricity flows through its plasma. Positive charges build up in one region and negative charges build up nearby. An electric field appears between the two regions. If that stored electric charge is catastrophically released, it is known as a “Langmuir burst.” Those explosive bursts are what heliophysicists incorrectly refer to as “magnetic reconnection.”
