No, I do not know more than those who normally study astrophysics. I don,t read much of the officially sanctioned science of astrophysics. Much of that science is deeply flawed. I adhere to the Electrically powered universe theory which explain the little bright dots in the sky much better than the Einstienian lunatics. Nothing happens in the heavens nor on earth that is disconected or isolated from the universal electromagnetic medium. Lava is plasma. Your own body is an electromagnetic organism.

According to a recent press release, solar flares are driven by magnetized loops of plasma. The magnetic fields in the “magnetic flux ropes” experience “reconnection events” in which the field lines break and then reconnect, causing explosions of “magnetic energy.” Some of that energy comes from “…secondary shocks from powerful electrical currents and accelerated plasmas trailing in the CME’s wake.”
No one knows what “magnetic reconnection” is. It is used to describe observations, but it lacks content. It is similar to the phrase “gravitational attraction”: an unknown phenomenon causes matter to exert attraction over distance, but the nature of that attractive force remains obscure. There is another problem with the idea of magnetic field lines breaking and then reconnecting: magnetic field lines are not “things,” they are schematic representations used to plot magnetic fields. They are no more real than lines of latitude or longitude.
Coronal arches and loops rise up from the Sun’s surface and penetrate its plasma sheath, or double layer region.Those powerful currents of electric charge form secondary magnetic fields that surround the loops. If the charge flow grows too strong, the double layers explode, interrupting the charge flow. The sudden discharge is what causes solar flares and CMEs.
In an Electric Universe based on electrodynamic principles and not electrostatic models, celestial bodies are immersed in plasma and are connected by circuits. The Sun is electrically connected to the galaxy, so it is an unstable charged object seeking equilibrium with its environment. Electric charge flows into the Sun from its galactic circuit, so it is in a constant state of flux.

Later, Carlqvist postulated that electric fields could accelerate charged particles with up to 10^14 electron volts per unit charge.
Double layers develop on the Sun as electricity flows through its plasma. Positive charges build up in one region and negative charges build up nearby. An electric field appears between the two regions. If that stored electric charge is catastrophically released, it is known as a “Langmuir burst.” Those explosive bursts are what heliophysicists incorrectly refer to as “magnetic reconnection.”

Wait a minute. You don't know more than astrophysicists, but you readily contradict their theories? Something doesn't add up.

Gore would be a 'spokesperson' a talking-head speaking out loud about something they are not totally familiar with. A false face on the 'anonymous source' data. That being said the numbers can still be used and when all the parameters are 'properly' adjusted you have a few things that are facts, as the pile of facts grows more and more things will fall into their proper place.

As it moves it caused a bulge in the crust that would be seen at the coast as a extra low tides and lower high tides until the bulge passes. You don't need a piece of paper to be a 'reasonable man'. A hobby is would be where they do their R&D. Ask Bill Gates if that can pay-off.

Earthquake prediction or forecasting has about an 80% correlation with solar sunspot activity, leaving 20% as inexplicable. The late William Corliss collated an immense store of reported and published “facts” on his Science Frontiers website, and the entry on sunspots and planetary alignments was forthright in stressing the fact that
Many scientists and laymen have noticed that the sunspot cycle and Jupiter’s period are both about 11 years. This must be a coincidence, because the tidal forces exerted on the sun by distant Jupiter seem far too weak to disturb the sun’s internal operations. But Corliss assumied a gravity only universe model and indeed in such a universe the tidal forces are far too weak. But if the plasma or electric universe model is adopted, then the connection becomes electrical of the required magnitude and readily explains observations. What isn’t obvious is the timing of the sunspot cycle which varies from 9 to 14 years, or ~11 years and ~22 years for the full cycle. Specific sunspot cycles vary but we don’t know what causes those observed variations, and if we also realise that sunspot cycles are non-linear, forecasting eathquakes becomes more or less impossible by definition. Given the fact of geological and biological evolution, it should be obvious that the past can’t actually predictict anything.
In the plasma universe model 99.997% of visible matter is in the plasma state as ionised matter. This means that 0.003% of visible matter is condensed or electrically neutral matter or objects that seem to obey Newton’s equations of motion. Which means that Newton’s equation for the gravitational force only applies to our solar system as we know that his equation(s) don’t work elsewhere in the Universe but that the Faraday homopolar motor mechanism based on electromagnetics does.
This means our solar system is in an unstable state and then are the inner planets orbiting too quickly and the outer planets too slowly? The assumption that the celestial mechanics derived from our solar system represents the rest of the Universe is simply humanistic arrogance, but not surprising given the cultural dominance the totalitarian Abrahamic religions have over western culture and its science.
