Your apathy says it all. I'm sure the Brits, Romans and Ottomans were the same way.

All I am saying is that I am unphased with the constant bashing that the US takes. Completely unphased by the steady critisism.

That does not mean that I am unaffected by world sufferring.

But you can spin all you want. That is what your ilk does.

It takes alot more than a moronic President to bring down America.

Who really wants to bring down America (more correctly, the United States) That would be a tragic loss. Bush? Yeah. A few of his little-minded yes people? Of course. On the whole, Americans are pretty much the same sort of mushroom as the rest of us - kept in the dark and fed lots of crap.

Not much more I'm afraid and judging from the current crop of candidates in will not get much better.

Government has never made a difference in the US, whatever has been accomplished, has been by the people. Don't be such a pessimist Avro, lighten up.

So.

What's your point?

Keep pretending there is no problem it may just go away on it's own.

Hopefully your next president can fix the damage done by W.

Don't forget Afghanistan was already in a civil war before we got there. We just sided with our enemies enemy.

on the body count polls....are these civilians counted in total or just the ones the troops kill? There's an awful lot of iraqis killing other iraqis you know.

How many Jews were killed by Jews with guns to their heads or the heads of their children? Still counts as a kill is a kill is a kill.

uhm... not many..

And any that did occur, would be the responsibility of the one pulling the trigger.

Simply put, there is no way you can compare this to a real genocide without devaluing genocide and slapping dead fish in the face of everyone who actually has gone to a genocide.

Go to Rwanda or a retirement home for people who lived through the death camps, bring up this arguement, get punched in the neck.

There are many dark deeds going on right now, the Iraq war being genocide is not one of them.

You are unphased because you are use to it which in itelf is an issue.
