"I agree YukonJack... I put garlic in or on darn near everything I cook. If it's good for blood pressure, mine should be good for a lifetime. lol."

I would have thought so, too, but my pressure is still up...

It's something younger people engage in. If you took your Ginko Biloba regularly, you might remember that you once did it too.;-)
LOL! Maybe I should go buy some and leave it around the house then.

Yep, that is one of the problems with it, although low blood pressure is much healthier you feel like a piece of sh*t that doesn't really want to move too spryly.
I take it you mean if it's medicinally lowered too far. I have always had low blood pressure and I've always moved quickly and spryly. People who move too slow can be annoying. I used to watch some of those people get their wallet our and then open their change purse and the lack of speed with which they moved was almost enough to make me wrench it out of their hands and count out what I needed! I sometimes could not believe a person could actually move that slow. I guess my day will come but man, I hope I never get that slow unless I live to be 100.

I hear you, I've stood behind people in the check out line who after the total has been tallied they then open their purse and start looking for the card or cash - I usually alredy have the rough total figured out and the cash already in my hand for payment. Not really all that hard if you concentrate for a few seconds.

Lots of stuff is good for you for a variety of specific purposes, like lowering cholesterol and blood pressure, reducing cancer risks, stuff like that. Here's a summary of some of it. It's pretty old, most recent reference in it is 1998 I think, and I'm sure more is known now. This was just the first reference I found at sites I've bookmarked.

Yes, a main gripe I have too, how can they stand there, watch all those groceries go by, be told by the cashier
what the total is, then begin the process of getting their
wallet out, finding their card, and cash while there is
a lineup behind them.
When i arrive at the cashier I give her my bags, allready
have cards out, ready to go, just like you, don't want to
look like a dolt, and keep others waiting.
If the person is elderly, I don't mind, I have great patience
for them, as I see they take a while to figure things out, that's OK

lol Don'tcha just love the little old ladies that take 10 minutes to search for their little change purses to find the exact change to the penny and then take another 10 minutes counting the exact change, one coin at a time? (Meanwhile the lineup is woven all through the isles and people still shopping can hardly wiggle through the line. :D)
