Australia is limiting immigration of Muslims to 7% of the gerneral population, and other countries should follow this example.

I'm not anti-Islam, but feel their doctrine to rule the world, kill jews and support terrorism is a threat to the west.

Where there are large Muslim populations who are prepared to use violence you are in trouble. If there is only 1 or 2 per cent they don't dare to do it - they don't have the backing of big communities. They know they are drowned in the environment of non-Muslims and are better behaved.

France, which has the highest proportion of Muslims in Europe at about 10 per cent, it was already too late. There were regions even the police were scared to enter, and militant Muslims were changing the country's political, economic and cultural fabric, and demanding anti-Semitic and anti-Israel policies.

French people say they are strangers in their own country. This is a point of no return.

They, and us, need to tell Muslims that if they want to practice their religion in our countries then they have to expunge all references to killing Jews, Christians and non-believers, and spreading Islam through Jihad and violence. It'd be next to impossible to enforce this. Seeing as Islam is a religion anyone can simply lie about which one they are a part of.

If we're going to be doing crazy stuff like this we might as well ban every crazy religion-including Judaism and Christianity which have things in their book which is just as repulsive-just about different people. Where will it end?

Anti-blasphemy laws only destroy freedom of speech. If I can be charged for telling atheists they're going to hell, isn't proclaiming Jesus Christ as the ONLY way, truth, and life implying the same thing, not just to atheists, but Muslims etc.? What about just telling a Muslim that his religion is simply "false"? What about pointing out to a Muslim the fact that Mohammad had sex with 9 year old girl? What about an atheist telling Christians their faith is "false"?

Anyone should be free to criticize or even reasonably insult any religion or philosophy they want to. It's called freedom of speech. Period.

On that side of the line you have CRITICISM and INSULTS, which should be protected under free speech. Yet on this side of the line when we have the "religion" of Islam, which advocates death to the enemies of Islam, death for leaving Islam(which is slavery), death for insulting Islam, and permits its followers to lie in order to further the dominance of Islam, we don't have a "religion" anymore. We have dangerous political movement that goes beyond using "hate speech" or insults and criticism. What really gases those of us who know better is when people have the audacity to call Islam a "religion of peace"!!! WAKE UP!

Its been about 40 years since I tried to read the koran but I don't recall it saying muslims were supposed to kill any non muslims. I recall something about peace unto your neighbours I think that part got lost in the translation by a bunch of power hungry old men. Kind of like most of the christian cults.

The Bible was originally written in Hebrew and Aramaic, the Jewish Bible is a word for word original translation from the oral language is a living language. I agree with what you say about everything written after the Hebrew Bible, translations do sometimes get messed up.
