BC has a big problem with extended care because people who never lived here retire here and use our pool of money.
Typically someone will work in Alberta and pay into Alberta for their whole working life and then retire to BC in their waning years when they start to use the healthcare system a lot more. Its a complex thing to get the money to the people who need it where they need it.

Massive budget deficit and yet Alberta spending money on those that have "looked after themselves". Makes one wonder why we would need programs to look after those that look after themselves...oh...yeah...that trough thing...

Public debt is everybody's business...well I guess those taking out more than they're putting in can be excluded...if you feel those on the public teat should have no input
