Look folks, it's rather simple, paying into CPP, pension plans et al while running up public debt is like putting your money into a savings account while running up your credit card. You've got $100k in savings and $200 on your Visa. You then pass off your $200k credit card bill to your children and grandchildren and point to your savings account as evidence that you looked after yourself

Many seniors are house rich, but cash poor. If the housing market bursts, there will be a lot of shiftless millennials who will actually have to work hard for a living instead of coasting as their inheritance will be gone.

I didn't draw welfare, I didn't draw U.I.C. and I made very little use of the medical until I was into my 70s our money flow was in the opposite direction .............into the Gov't coffers.
