A Mouse Once Bit My Sister
You are a very confused person.

Nunavut youth in Durban hear Canada’s a “dinosaur” on climate change

DURBAN, South Africa — Two students from Arviat, Jordan Konek and Curtis Kuunuaq, from the Nanisiniq Arviat history project, arrived Dec. 1 in the South African coastal city to observe the United Nations climate change summit underway there.

“What is really hard to hear is Canada being called a dinosaur by other youth delegates attending the conference,” Konek said.

The only thing hard to hear is the rampant hypocrisy coming from those nations that want to be the beneficiary of the myriad of carbon schemes.

I do hope that Arviat and Curtis won't be so scarred from hearing about Canada being a 'dinosaur' that they'll be crying themselves to sleep for years to come.

Where's the call for the green lobby's accountability?

I, here, forthwith, call for more accountability of any unjustified lobbyism.

Let us begin with those lobbies that receive the most funding to propagate falsehoods to the public..

So far this garbage coming out of Durban is just more socialist rhetoric along the lines of tax the rich and give to the have nots even though they have done exactly nothing to deserve it. If we are to buy into this whole carbon tax scam then all the money collected in Canada should go for projects and research that cut pollution in Canada. Anything else is just wealth redistribution.

That would be the climate change scammers, the government unions and the NDP.

He's wrong because you say so?

Hmm, trouble reading again. He's wrong because he assumes that I give more weight to one think tank publication (like the one he posted) over another (Frasier Institute.) I have no idea if what he asserted is true or not, I haven't seen him post any evidence for such a thing.

Why are you being an idiot? You're much smarter than this.

Debatable.

Simple easy question. Since introduction of Carbon Taxes in BC, how much has consumption been reduced?

Where is the money going? Things like transit?

It's already been answered but for some strange reason, people whom I thought to be fiscal conservatives and folks like yourself seem to have a problem with lowering income taxes, and the possibility to reduce your tax burden depending on your consumer choices.

Bizarro world.

Your tax scheme is a farce and you know it.

No. I know that 5 plus -7 equals negative 2. You seem positively confused by that simple mathematical proof.

Its going to Interfor Timberwest Encana and others to replant and reclaim.
Good business if you can get it.
Crony capitalism.

Hmm, another conspiracy theorist. Shocker.

In all my time here, I've only met two people who I could legitimately call skeptics about climate change. CdnBear, and Ron in Regina. They don't fall back to conspiracies when they are shown evidence. That's what separates them as skeptics, and you and your ilk in this thread and the others on climate change as deniers. No different than an AIDS denier, or a Holocaust denier.

Is that the reduction in consumption?

Hmm, you must have me confused with someone who said $25 a tonne of eCO2 is an effective price for the goal. I wouldn't even attempt to try discussing that with people who can't grasp a simple addition rule of mathematics.

It is not about consumer choices unless you live in a big city. Rural areas do not have access to natural gas or transit. Also resource industries are dependent on diesel for most applications until someone figures out a way to run electricity through the air like radio waves since except for mine shovels dragging a power cord around is not practical.

Well, the majority of people live in cities...as for rural areas, the reasons you outline are the rationalization for the Northern and Rural Homeowner benefit.

So that is why you promote urban sprawl through taxation?

Straw man. If I wanted to promote urban sprawl, I'd side with folks like Captain Morgan and say the hell with any marketing boards that help farmers market their product without being gouged by large companies. Id say empty the country side and move everyone into cities. But I don't say that, you just make up $hit when it suits your purpose. Or you ask retarded questions.

Carry on, your like minded conspiracy nutters won't notice. Or care.

such bullshyt.

Another one with math problems...jebus it's a damned epidemic of mathtards.
