I am not a Trump fan by any means (or a Biden fan, Obama, Clinton, Bush, etc…), but I can kind of see this… in the way that it sort of comes across that he thinks a certain way.

Back in that debate with Hillary Clinton Way back when… he said the whole system is corrupt because he used the system with respect to income tax and such…just like she does, etc…& even Dave Chappelle talks about this on stage. Maybe we’re seeing something similar here?

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to be interviewed by New York probation officials Monday, a required step before his July sentencing in his criminal hush money case, according to three people familiar with the plan.


Trump will do the interview via a computer video conference from his residence at the Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, the people told The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to disclose the plans publicly.

One of Trump’s lawyers, Todd Blanche, will be present for the interview. People convicted of crimes in New York usually meet with probation officials without their lawyers, but the judge in Trump’s case, Juan Merchan, said in a letter Friday that he would allow Blanche’s presence.

The usual purpose of a pre-sentencing probation interview is to prepare a report that will tell the judge more about the defendant, and potentially help determine the proper punishment for the crime.


Such reports are typically prepared by a probation officer, a social worker or a psychologist working for the probation department who interviews the defendant and possibly that person’s family and friends, as well as people affected by the crime.

Presentence reports include a defendant’s personal history, criminal record and recommendations for sentencing. It will also include information about employment and any obligations to help care for a family member. It is also a chance for a defendant to say why they think they deserve a lighter punishment.

A jury convicted Trump of falsifying business records at his own company as part of a broader scheme to buy the silence of people who might have told embarrassing stories about him during the 2016 presidential campaign. One $130,000 payment went to a porn actor, Stormy Daniels, who claimed to have had a sexual encounter with Trump, which he denied.


Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, says he is innocent of any crime and that the criminal case was brought to hurt his chances to regain the White House.

Trump’s campaign spokesman, Steven Cheung, said in statement Sunday that President Joe Biden’s Democratic Party allies “continue to ramp up their ongoing Witch-Hunts, further abusing and misusing the power of their offices to interfere in the presidential election.”

“President Trump and his legal team are already taking necessary steps to challenge and defeat the lawless Manhattan DA case,” he said.

Merchan has scheduled Trump’s sentencing for July 11. He has discretion to impose a wide range of punishments, ranging from probation and community service to up to four years in prison.

In a new book following his years as a reality TV personality, Donald Trump gives his assessment on the “beautiful” but “liberal” Taylor Swift.


In an excerpt from Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass, shared by Variety, Trump shared his thoughts on the music superstar.

“I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented,” he told the book’s author, Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh. “I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful!”

Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Trump and his allies are reportedly getting ready to go to battle with Swift ahead of this fall’s U.S. election.

The singer-songwriter hasn’t yet pledged her support for incumbent Joe Biden, but aides close to Trump — who was recently found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records following allegations he paid off porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their alleged affair — are preparing for “holy war” against Swift if she comes out in support of the Democrats.


But as talk of Swift throwing her support behind Biden swirls, Rolling Stone reported this past February that Trump is relishing the prospect of going up against them both.

According to the outlet, Trump thinks that no celebrity will be able to match his own perceived popularity with voters.

A source told Rolling Stone that behind closed doors, Trump is claiming that he is “more popular” than Swift and that he has more dedicated fans than she does.

In an email to the magazine, Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller said a Swift endorsement for his political rival isn’t worrying the former president. “Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” Miller wrote.


An official working on the Trump campaign said Swift’s support for Biden would give the fiery businessman permission to turn his “culture-warrior dial up to 11.”

“It would be more fuel thrown onto the culture-war fires,” an official on Team Trump said. “Another left-wing celebrity who is part of the Democrat elite telling you what to think.”

Insiders close to Trump have been vocal in warning Swift to stay out of the 2024 election.

“Don’t get involved. Don’t get involved in politics; we don’t want to see you there,” Fox News host Jeanine Pirro said this past February. “Joe Biden is in (a) hole with young people, he knows it. And if he thinks Taylor can get him out of that hole, he’s gonna go for it.”

Despite years of staying quiet on political issues, Swift broke her silence in 2018 when she announced she was voting for two Tennessee Democrats.


After previously calling her “fantastic” and “terrific,” Trump was miffed at her public declarations. “Let’s say that I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now, OK?”

In 2020, after Trump tweeted threats at George Floyd protesters in Minnesota, she accused the commander-in-chief of “stoking the fires of white supremacy” and promised to use her voice against him in that year’s presidential election.

The 14-time Grammy winner ended her message by writing, “We will vote you out in November.”

The message racked up millions of likes and became Swift’s most-liked post on the platform.

Last fall, Trump weighed in on the relationship between Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce during an interview with the Daily Caller.


“I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not,” Trump said.

But in an excerpt from Setoodeh’s upcoming book, Trump wondered aloud if Swift really does embrace liberal policies.

“She is liberal, or is that just an act?” he asked Setoodeh during their interview. “She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal … Garth Brooks is liberal. Explain that! How does it happen?”

WASHINGTON — The federal judge presiding over the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump and two of his associates denied a request Monday to dismiss some of the charges in the indictment.


The defendants had sought to throw out more than a half-dozen of the 41 counts in the indictment, which accuses Trump of illegally hoarding classified documents from his presidency and of conspiring with valet Walt Nauta and Mar-a-Lago property manager to conceal the sensitive files from the government.

The defendants had challenged counts related to obstruction and false statements, but U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon said in an order Monday that “the identified deficiencies, even if generating some arguable confusion, are either permitted by law, raise evidentiary challenges not appropriate for disposition at this juncture, and/or do not require dismissal even if technically deficient, so long as the jury is instructed appropriately and presented with adequate verdict forms as to each Defendants’ alleged conduct.”

Cannon has already rejected multiple other motions to dismiss the case, including one that suggested that Trump was authorized under a statute known as the Presidential Records Act to keep the documents with him after he left the White House and to designate them as his personal files.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously ruled against a man who wants to trademark the suggestive phrase “Trump too small.”


The justices upheld the government’s decision to deny a trademark to Steve Elster, a California man seeking exclusive use of the phrase on T-shirts and potentially other merchandise. It is one of several cases at the court relating to former President Donald Trump, including major cases related to the violent attack on the Capitol in 2021. Earlier this term, the court laid out standards for when public officials can be sued for blocking critics from their social media accounts. These cases were also related to Trump.

The Justice Department supported President Joe Biden’s predecessor and presumptive opponent in the 2024 election. Government officials said the phrase “Trump too small” could still be used, just not trademarked because Trump had not consented to its use. Indeed, “Trump too small” T-shirts can already be purchased online.


Elster’s lawyers had argued that the decision violated his free speech rights, and a federal appeals court agreed.

At arguments, Chief Justice John Roberts said that if Elster were to win, people would race to trademark “Trump too this, Trump too that.”

Although all nine justices agreed in rejecting Elster’s First Amendment claim, they used differing rationales that stretched over 53 pages of opinions.

Twice in the past six years, the justices have struck down provisions of federal law denying trademarks seen as scandalous or immoral in one case and disparaging in another.

Elster’s case dealt with another measure calling for a trademark request to be refused if it involves a name, portrait or signature “identifying a particular living individual” unless the person has given “written consent.”


The phrase at the heart of the case is a reference to an exchange Trump had during the 2016 presidential campaign with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who was then also running for the Republican presidential nomination.

Rubio began the verbal jousting when he told supporters at a rally that Trump was always calling him “little Marco” but that Trump — who says he is 6 feet and 3 inches tall — has disproportionately small hands. “Have you seen his hands? … And you know what they say about men with small hands,” Rubio said. “You can’t trust them.”

Trump then brought up the comment at a televised debate on March 3, 2016.

“Look at those hands. Are they small hands? And he referred to my hands — if they’re small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee you,” he said.
