Well if you're running for the dems, that would make you a traditionalist in their eyes :)

So the question becomes... if MTG says they would have "won", did she WANT Pence to be hung, Trump to be installed as President and more people killed (congress)? Because, that's what sarcasm is. Or was her "Sarcasm" that winning meant losing?

And I thought ANTIFA/BLM did this, not Conservatives?

""See that's the whole joke, isn't it? They say that whole thing was planned and I'm like, are you kidding me? A bunch of conservatives, Second Amendment supporters, went in the Capitol without guns, and they think that we organized that? I don't think so.""

Apparently MTG doesn't read the information about the event, but instead buys the "no one had anything considered a weapon!" excuse.

Nor does she pay attention to the fact that people ADMITTED to organizing things that happened (re. Oath Keepers).

The sad part is, this idiot was talking to young Cons who will be the 'party future'. These kids need to get the hell AWAY from her, Bannon and others and become real Republicans.

How is that a question? She said if she'd been in charge of it that's what would have happened. She didn't say she wanted to lead it - she was responding to how people have suggested she tried to organize it when she didn't. She said if she HAD done so they'd have been armed and they'd have won Not that she wished they'd won.

This is the kind of ignorance that has so many turning against the left these days,

Former President Donald Trump’s digital trading cards had sold out, coin experts said on Friday

And just one day after their release their value had more than doubled, The New York Post has reported.

All 45,000 of Trump’s NFTs had sold as of 1:30 p.m. Friday.

The cards show Trump as everything from a superhero to an astronaut.

According to NFT marketplace OpenSea, the collection was trading at a volume of 1,448 ETH, the equivalent of $1.73 million.

The floor price stood at around $220, up from Thursday’s mint price of $99.

“One rare version of the non-fungible tokens, featuring Trump holding a torch in front of the Statue of Liberty, was listed with a “floor value” of almost $24,000,” according to coindesk.com.

“At least 115 customers minted 45 of the digital coins, the minimum number that guarantees an invitation to dinner with Trump, while 17 people minted at least 100,” The Post wrote.

Jan. 6 committee eyes referring criminal charges for Donald Trump

Published Dec 16, 2022 • 3 minute read

WASHINGTON — The House panel investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol is considering recommending the Justice Department pursue an unprecedented criminal charge of insurrection and two other counts against former President Donald Trump.

Besides insurrection, an uprising aiming to overthrow the government, the panel is also considering recommending prosecutors pursue charges for obstructing an official proceeding and conspiracy to defraud the United States, according to a person familiar with the matter who could not publicly discuss the private deliberations and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. The committee’s deliberations were continuing late Friday, and no decisions were formalized on which specific charges the committee would refer to the Justice Department.

The panel is to meet publicly Monday afternoon when any recommendation will be made public.

A second person familiar with the deliberations, who also could not publicly discuss details of the private deliberations, confirmed the committee was considering three charges. The panel’s lawyers argued, according to that person, that those three criminal statutes were the strongest cases to make.

The decision to issue referrals is not unexpected. Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., the vice chair of the committee, has for months been hinting at sending the Justice Department criminal referrals based on the extensive evidence the nine-member panel has gathered since it was formed in July 2021.

“You may not send an armed mob to the Capitol; you may not sit for 187 minutes and refuse to stop the attack while it’s underway. You may not send out a tweet that incites further violence,” Cheney said about Trump on NBC’s ”Meet the Press” in October. “So we’ve been very clear about a number of different criminal offences that are likely at issue here.”

The committee’s chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., detailed possible referrals last week as falling into a series of categories that include criminal and ethics violations, legal misconduct and campaign finance violations.

It would then fall to federal prosecutors to decide whether to pursue any referrals for prosecution. While it doesn’t carry any legal weight, recommendations by the committee would add to the political pressure on the Justice Department as it investigates Trump’s actions.

“The gravest offence in constitutional terms is the attempt to overthrow a presidential election and bypass the constitutional order,” committee member Jamie Raskin, D-Md., told reporters last week. “Subsidiary to all of that are a whole host of statutory offences, which support the gravity and magnitude of that violent assault on America.”

Raskin, along with Cheney and Democratic Reps. Adam Schiff and Zoe Lofgren, both of California, comprised the subcommittee that drafted the referral recommendations and presented them to the larger group for consideration.

Over the course of its investigation, the committee has made recommendations that several members of Trump’s inner circle should be prosecuted for refusing to comply with congressional subpoenas. One, for Steve Bannon, has resulted in a conviction.

Monday’s session will also include a preview of the committee’s final report, expected to be released Wednesday. The panel will vote on adopting the official record, effectively authorizing the release of the report to the public.

The eight-chapter report will include hundreds of pages of findings about the attack and Trump’s actions and words, drawing on what the committee learned through its interviews with more than 1,000 witnesses.

Oh look yet more people saying they're "considering" charges after thinking about things for months. Yawn.

That's all they do. They've been 'considering charges" since he was first elected. Russian collusion, obstructing justice, stolen documents, abuse of power, inciting rebellion now i guess. But they never charge.

it's a joke. This is why Trump gets so many people on his side, the other side LOOKS like they're lying and just making crap up all the time and so people assume trump must be right and is telling the truth.

Frakkin' charge him if you've got something or shut the fuck up already. Yeash.

Well, there's the referral... we'll see what the DOJ does.

As the video suggests, symbolism isn't just something to dismiss.

Yawn. There's a fine line between symbolism and crying wolf. Let me know if they actually charge him with anything,
They are trying to move heaven and earth to keep Trump from running again in '24. They even had the cojones to threaten him and follow through with a special prosecuter now they are sending every prosecuter the DOJ had on every investigation they opened on Trump to the new office with the man over seeing it recovering in Europe. Biden administration running a hit job on Trump why are they so worried about one man?

Ooops - you broke serryah again :) You can always tell when she's emotionally damaged by her emojis :)

It certainly does have that feel. Like they're waiting to see if he runs or if he looks like he's going to win and then drop the hammer on him or the like at a critical point to derail him. Or at least threaten to in order to discourage people from supporting him.

Perfect summation of it.
If you're a moron it is. He wasn't fired - his term ended. If you go with that logic every president who's had a second term was "fired and is reapplying for the job they got fired from".

And it's more like 'let me get this straight - We the democrats have been falsely accusing you of crimes every single day in media and print since you first got elected, we ran a multi year massive investigation with dozens of top investigators from the FBI which had to clear you in the end, and we've never charged you with anything under the law... and you're STILL not intimidated?!?!?
