JLM, there is plenty wrong with Ten Commandments. Some are OK (thou shalt not kill, steal etc.), but some are of dubious merit, and some are positively insulting to non Christians.
The first four Commandments come into this category. I remember when the case of Ten Commandments was brought in front of the Supreme Court in USA, Supreme Court ruled that schools cannot post the Ten Commandments in classroom; for fear that children may start obeying them.
Religious right went nuts over the ruling. They didn’t understand how anybody could possibly object to obeying Ten Commandments. But Supreme Court was very astute in realizing that if children started obeying Ten Commandments (especially if non Christian children started obeying the first Commandment), that will lead to nothing but trouble.
So in your eyes there may not be anything wrong with Ten Commandments, but looking at it objectively, there is plenty wrong with them.
Plenty of people are living in hell but it isn't always of their own making and in fact, I would guess that it often isn't of their own making. Some people just don't know how to leave the hell they are in. Sometimes leaving is not the option people think it is. You have to walk a mile in a man' shoes before you know what kind of hell he lives in. Then you can decide if it's his own making or if he has just accepted his lot in life.

Pedophiles?! A rare breed of human derangement (just one that is uber-exaggerated by the media). I'd worry more about the billions of other damaged goods that pass for "normal healthy humans" on this rock, who will harm you and your children if you're foolish enough to trust them just because they aren't crawling the web for kiddie porn.
And the 'animals' (i.e. species other than human) are just as prone to being damaged as us noids. It's just that being damaged in nature usually ends in death so there's no time for it to have a wider-ranging effect. Give any one of them the evolutionary chance and they'll be doing all the same $hit we do.
God didn't goof. This is the way it's supposed to work: humans, with all their *ucked-uppidness ("unpredictability" if you want) are the next step. Just stop wishing for that perfect job with the perfect home and the perfect blah, blah, blah and f-ing live a little...you'll be making God (or whatever) very happy.
CM is a troll's troll. All he ever did was come on to pick a fight and mock people. I would put him in the same category as HH. So be careful not to invoke his presence on here.
