Rep. Marcia L. Fudge endorses Rep. Nancy Pelosi's bid for House speaker, abandons any plans to challenge longtime Democratic leader


The Ohio congresswoman's endorsement on Tuesday came as Pelosi announced that next year Fudge would be the new chairman of the Elections Subcommittee of the House Adminstration Committee. Fudge said in a statement that Pelosi has "assured me that the most loyal voting bloc in the Democratic Party, black women, will have a seat at the decision-making table," and she joined her colleagues in endorsing Pelosi and other Democratic leaders.

I think you purposely left out the part where Pelosi's team dug up dirt on Rep. Fudge throwing her support behind a man who beat his wife senseless in 2014. This weekend he was arrested for murdering her.
