I am not so certain it's strictly a left right thing. Many of Trump's opponents are on the right as well as the left.
I think Tay is correct in regards to the money spent and where that went, and that the people who benefit by it are the election machine parts. Look at the kind of dough the pollsters who try to steer the elections make.
Trump if nothing else, had a platform that did represent what the people wanted, trouble is he doesn't have a party to fill in the blanks in Washington now that he is there..
So bureaucratic unions are a lefty thing - those folks can be dealt with in some ways, but are hard to fire. Even on a good day it's like killing ONE piranha - the school carries on anyway.
It is a well funded group, funded by Globalist COUNTRY killers like george soros, and they have people in key positions and have been placing them there for a long time.
They are in all the systems like banking, education, the fictional and non fictional media, and the unions so they are going to be hard to defeat.
Hopefully though enough people will get the drift of who they really are, and then form that third party from the remains of both the globalist left and the globalist right. Then there will be a chance that democracy in the light of the free world might be able to keep the momentum up, and retake washingmachington in the name of the people in a meaningful way.
Because people will have to be chosen from the idealistic folks who care about freedom enough not to be easily bribable(sp lol), and also be smart enough to develop proper solutions to the problems the globalists have already created, it's going to be difficult, but Trump and the real media, and people who support them, seem to thrive on difficult, so there is hope.
That always was the american way, hopefully it still is.
