Tell that to Mother Earth and the Climate. Explain that to the plankton and coral reefs... explain that to the swimming polar bears... Fiji people... tell that to the bees... the rain forests in Brazil... the polar ice caps.

Exactly... a much bigger one at that. Canada has been around for what... 150 years? That's a long time and India, well India is still a developing country. India has not been around nearly as long as Canada has. Canada needs to pay it's share.

It's definitely our fault. We need to tax the tax and immediately turn that revenue over to some third world entity with absolutely no accountability so that they can fix this thing and we can feel better about ourselves.

It's the only way.

The question has been asked before.

How many bank transfers will it take to stop global warming?
Well someone has to pay for our 161 delegates to the Bonn conference . I mean it is 2017 after all and we need to show the world Canada is back . How much help does Catherine McKenna need to sign whatever agreement is put in front of her ?

10s if not hundreds of billions of $$s for conferences each year?

Obviously they all must be staying at the same hotel as Bev Oda and chugging back the fresh OJ

What has more BTUs? A plastic shopping bag or a polymer finsker?

That's a trick question.... Flossy has the most BTUs and emits a horrendous amount of GHGs (not to mention poo-poo breath)

Well the Canadian delegation is 161 people , so yes I think Climate Barbie has an entourage . I wonder if she is taking a personal photographer along for the ride as does our illustrious PM .

No Barbi and her entourage will be on Power and Politics talking up a great game . With no notice of they're unusually large carbon footprint . We are saving the world don't you know .

Fossil fuels will be main energy source for decades – OPEC

November 7, 2017 by The Canadian Press

November 8, 2017

VIENNA — OPEC says growth in global oil demand will steadily lessen from an annual average of 1.3 million barrels a day between 2016 and 2020, to 300,000 barrels a day by 2035-2040. But it says fossil fuels will remain the main energy source decades from now. The organization's annual World Oil Outlook published Tuesday says renewables are projected to record the fastest growth but their share of total energy supply is still anticipated to remain below 5.5 per cent by 2040. The report by the 14-nation Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries says that the use of fossil fuels — 81 per cent of the global energy mix in 2015 — will decline by 2040. But the cartel says they will still account then for 74 per cent of all energy used. The Associated Press

Now this where real responsible environmentalism should look for solutions. London also had killer smogs up to the 1950s until sensible controls were put on emissions. This makes more sense than the claptrap of AGW which has no credibility and no solutions beyond the elimination of the human presence on the earth. And that essentially is the ultimate objective of the nutcases who promote it.
Apparently there is a partial solution to the India smog but it costs money.........

The haze covered India Gate, a war memorial in the center of the city where Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were due to pay respects in a two-day trip ending on Thursday.

I’d like to assure people that the central government shall do everything possible to bring about improvement in air quality in Delhi and the Nation Capital Region,” federal environment minister Harsh Vardhan said as authorities faced criticism for failing to take steps to fight a problem that erupts every year.

Farmers in Haryana, where Rohtak is located, and Punjab, the two big agrarian states surrounding Delhi, burn millions of tonnes of crop waste around October every year before sowing the winter crop of wheat.

State authorities say it is hard to enforce the ban unless farmers, a powerful political constituency, are given funds to buy machinery to clear their land.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said in a Twitter post: “Situation is serious but Punjab helpless as problem is widespread & state has no money to compensate farmers for stubble management.”

New Delhi declares emergency as toxic smog thickens by the hour
