Over the years I have heard from our politicians and I quote from many speeches over the decades.
"This great land of opportunity for all and great freedoms is envied around the world for the freedoms , great wealth and diversity. That is all under attack by {insert any parties name}.
Now more than ever we need a government who will commit to the people of this great land by protecting our freedoms , by not stifling the population with a heavy tax burden and by creating individual wealth and prosperity for Canadians in job creation and security.
We believe that taxes are to heavy and it threatens jobs for Canadians and weakens our economic sector as a whole so to loosen corporate taxes is to provide job security for all Canadians now and in the future.
To those who would attack this , is attacking our way of life here in Canada . Our infrastructure is the best in the world as is our care of our citizens both in health and individual peace and security. We plan to make sure that this is protected now and in the future to make this country more secure and stronger so we can move ahead to meet the challenges of the coming decades with pride that is Canadian made and Canadian tradition."
We have all heard this in some form or other and it is called brain washing and a lie.
This is an excuse to not improve and cover major future short falls in policy along with putting anyone who questions the status quo as radicals.
This country could be great I agree but as it stands that will be for a select few who are connected in some form.
My case in point is our crown land. Not the only point but one that would give us the freedom of owning our own country.
Ever tried to purchase crown land and by purchase I mean own it not lease it.
Ever looked into who gets crown land ?
I have tried over the last 6 years to purchase crown land here in BC and it has been an education and that being a tax payer and proud Canadian means nothing.
In 2000 I lived in Alaska and purchased state land there and the meaning of rights are way different than here and in the rest of Canada. Here is the link to the Alaska website along with citizen rights under the state constitution which actually protects state residents unlike here.
Alaska Land Offerings
Would like to hear others opinions on this or any ideas as to change.
