First they were telling us to wear masks, and anyone who didn't wear a mask was branded a "covidiot."

Now they want masks banned - because they're bad for the environment.

ASK AMY: Vaccination questions raise privacy concerns

A reader is annoyed by personal questions about getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Photo by file photo /Getty Images
Article content

Dear Amy: I have always been very private regarding health and medical issues.

I don’t want to discuss with friends, family, or strangers whether I’ve had a flu shot, mammogram, colonoscopy, etc.

I find questions about these things extremely intrusive. I have always been able to dodge the questions and change the subject.

How do you suggest I respond to inquiries about whether or not I have had, or plan to get, the COVID-19 vaccine?

I’ve already found people to be extremely aggressive in demanding to know what a person’s plan is, even to the extreme of not wanting to associate with anyone who can’t satisfy their nosiness about whether they have had the shots.

I understand that this is a contagious disease, a global pandemic, and the nonstop media coverage increases the intensity of people’s reactions, but just the thought of having these pushy medical conversations makes my skin crawl.

Any thoughts?

— Mum About Medical

Dear Mum: I share your aversion to discussing medical issues.

However, your colonoscopy or mammogram status has absolutely no bearing or impact on anyone else’s health. Your vaccination status might.

Mainly, the vaccination protects you from the more serious illness caused by COVID. But the vaccination also helps to protect others, because if you don’t contract COVID, you won’t be spreading it.

I can imagine how annoying it would be to face aggressive questioning and implied harsh judgment about your vaccination status, but other people do have the right to make their own choice regarding how much close contact they want to have with you.

Yes, without a doubt, nosy people will use the vaccination as an excuse to pry, but if you don’t want to have an extended medical conversation, then don’t.

They ask, “When are you getting vaccinated?”

You say, “I’m not sure.”

They ask, “Are you planning to be vaccinated?”

You say, “I haven’t decided.”

They say, “Well, if you haven’t been vaccinated or won’t reassure me about your plan, I won’t want to spend time with you.”

You respond: “Yes, I completely understand.”

I notice Serryah approves of the fakenews PCR test numbers...including the 96% that all died of ( NOT WITH) comorbidities.
;)
That figures...innocent genocide deaths and Fakenews ALWAYS gets its approval!

Mindless Mask Mandates Likely Do More Harm Than Good

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • While the media claims mask mandates are based on science and will “save lives,” science is actually ignored wholesale and recommendations are primarily pushed based on emotional justifications and triggers
  • Recommendations have fluctuated wildly from initially admonishing people to not wear masks, to mandating universal mask wearing by all, including the healthy, to wearing two, three and even four masks, plus goggles and face shields
  • The logical reason for all this flip-flopping is because actual science is being ignored. From the start, the available research has been rather consistent: Mask wearing does not reduce the prevalence of viral illness and asymptomatic spread is exceedingly rare, if not nonexistent
  • The largest COVID-19-specific mask trial to date found masks may either reduce your risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection by as much as 46%, or increase it by 23%. Either way, the vast majority — 97.9% of those who didn’t wear masks, and 98.2% of those who did — remained infection free
  • The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rely on an anecdotal story about two hair stylists who interacted with clients while symptomatic. Because everyone wore masks in the salon, and none tested positive after exposure, they claim this is evidence that the masks prevented the spread of infection. Meanwhile, other CDC data reveal 85% of confirmed COVID-19 patients used masks “often” or “always”

The Web of Players Trying to Silence Truth

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • The Publicis Groupe, a leading PR firm, represents major companies within the technology, pharmaceutical and banking industries. These companies, in turn, have various partnerships with the U.S. government and global nongovernmental organizations (NGOs)

  • Publicis is a partner of the World Economic Forum, which is leading the call for a “reset” of the global economy and a complete overhaul of our way of life. As such, Publicis appears to be playing an important role, coordinating the suppression of information that runs counter to the technocratic narrative

  • The role of the free press is to counter industry propaganda. That role has been effectively subverted through advertising. News outlets rarely report on something that might damage their advertisers

  • Publicis connects to the drug industry, banking industry, NewsGuard/HealthGuard, educational institutions, Big Tech companies like Google, Microsoft and Bing, the U.S. State Department and Department of Defense, global technocratic institutions like the World Health Organization, national and global NGOs like the CCDH and the World Economic Forum, and dominating health websites like WebMD and Medscape

  • These connections, taken together, explain how certain views can be so effectively erased. The answer to this dilemma is transparency. We must expose the machinations that allow this agenda to be pushed forward

Breaking a one month silence Wednesday, President Trump appeared on a number of cable news channels, hinting at a 2024 run, a potential launch of his own social media platform, and slamming Joe Biden for lying about the coronavirus vaccine rollout.

Appearing on Newsmax, Trump addressed Biden’s blatant lie Tuesday night about there being no available vaccine.

Gates Foundation Donations to WHO Nearly Match Those From U.S. Government

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP announced Friday afternoon that the United States would be "terminating" the country's relationship with the World Health Organization and redirecting funding elsewhere. If such a halt on U.S. funding to the WHO becomes permanent, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation would become the top donor to the international agency, above any government in the world.

Coronavirus vaccine makers are shielded from liability. Here’s why officials say that’s normal

The government has confirmed that coronavirus vaccine manufacturers are protected from liability when it comes to issues with their doses — but the feds say this is par-for-the-course and has no bearing on vaccine safety.

“Let’s be clear that indemnification clauses in vaccine contracts are standard,” Procurement Minister Anita Anand told reporters, speaking at a Monday press conference in Ottawa.

Of course it would be his best investment ever. Paid by governments with a clause that says the manufacturer is not liable for all the problems and deaths. Win win for the rich dude.
