Lockdowns are a last result, and if they do become necessary then it's because people can't get it though their thick heads that a few simple precautions will reduce the spread enough that new cases decrease instead of increasing.

They obviously don't work because this is the second - or is it the third? - lockdown Britain has been put into.

Meanwhile Sweden, which didn't go into lockdown, has beaten coronavirus, registering no deaths.

Where are you getting your numbers ? Sweden is currently spiking as are other European countries, and their mortality rate puts them in the top five for deaths per 100,000 among large, wealthy countries, only slightly less than the UK. As much as they are touting their response as successful, the growing concensus among other countries is that their approach will result in a net failure.

LOCK SHOCK

Sweden’s average daily Covid deaths fall to just 0.6 despite no national lockdown while UK & France soars to 200

Here's a good site for credible Covid numbers worldwide:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries
They say that on October 28, the day the article above was written, the 7 day rolling average for new daily covid deaths was 9.0, at the beginning of a month long surge that topped out at 52 per day. They are currently at around 15.
Here's another good site:
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/
You can use it to check the credibility of media outlets.
Here's what they say about The Sun/UK:
Overall, we rate The Sun Right Biased based on story selection and political affiliation that favors the right. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to overly sensationalized headlines and numerous failed fact checks.

Sweden Reports No New Deaths Caused by Coronavirus

How Sweden Dealt With Coronavirus: Are There Lessons For US?

The U.S. and many other parts of the world are seeing an increase in coronavirus cases, but that’s not the case in Sweden, which never went into lockdown. Is there a lesson there for the rest of the world? NBC chief global correspondent Bill Neely reports for TODAY from Stockholm.

(The only person in Sweden wearing a ridiculous mask is Bill Neely)

They obviously don't work because this is the second - or is it the third? - lockdown Britain has been put into.

They do work and can work, however, you had a lot of people in the UK think the end of lockdown meant 'back to normal' which meant not following any of the precautions. Sorry but you STILL have to mask, wash and distance. Because they couldn't, you had repeat lockdowns needed.

Meanwhile Sweden, which didn't go into lockdown, has beaten coronavirus, registering no deaths.

Ah yes, using Sweden as the goto... so the world should use Sweden's "herd immunity" meaning x Millions die and who GAF for them, so long as YOU are one of the survivors, right?
