This is political communist tyranny. We are all being forced to live with a life of fear and anxiety now thanks to our dear comrade leaders who are all out to make our lives as miserable as they possibly can. They now have complete and utter control over our now useless and pathetic lives and can now get to dictate to us all as to what we can and cannot do. No more of leaving it up to we the people to decide our own fate.
Canadians do not have real and true leaders and never did. But now they have gotten themselves even more communist looking leaders whom are out to make sure that what they say must go and we must obey all their commands and orders. If we the people do not then there will be heavy expensive fines ready for you to pay or maybe even get some jail time.
I wonder what can happen if someone is given a fine and refuses to pay that fine? Will they then be taken off to jail? But then that cannot happen because apparently many prisoners have been let out of jail because of this so called China virus. Interesting to see what would happen there. No matter how we look at it, the fines are way out of line. Giving someone a fine in the thousands is a crime against humanity as far as I am concerned.
But this is Canada, don't you know. Anything goes here these days. Dam those Canadians who can be so led down the garden path and off to their demise without even questioning as to where they are going. Canadians are truly a bunch of zombie followers and it's for sure most of them are far from being seen as any kind of leaders. Aw well, what more can be said about them. Deplorable.
One guy in Victoria got fined $2300 yesterday. Apparently he invited 40 - 60 guests to a party at his one bedroom apartment. Maybe the boy needs a hearing aid!

The old Fink on a Friend program. Trouble is the mask cop has to catch you in the act to issue a ticket. They can't come to your house days later.Might work for the odd house party if a neighbour complains enough but still won't do anything for large groups outside on public land.
The whole thing is a bit screwy anyway. If there are 49 people in a group life is good. Hit 51 and all of a sudden it is a covid convention. How will they tell if it was the first or the last person in the door that is infected?
Only the poor might get jail time. If you own property the fine will be a registered lein against your property.

The world is watching in horror. BBC is my default news media........and even they are getting more frank in their assessment of the situation in the US. The world is aware........even though it is busy dealing with its own high stress and challenging situations.

Yes.the world is suffering. But no other nation has mishandled this as badly as the US........and no other nation is STUPID enough to call this pandemic a hoax or keep minimizing the situation as it gains speed and got out of control. No other nation has had as much problem getting their population to adhere to the precautions and wearing masks. Actively defying the precautions by having large gatherings. ( Although CDA has been disappointing to a degree )
The leadership is one thing.(and it has been TERRIBLE)...... but the attitude of the population is astounding. , careless, selfish, ignorant and refuses to listen to the experts. They would rather listen to a liar who knows NOTHING. but tells them what they want to hear. Lies and FALSE reassurances.
People know what to do......but they immaturely and stupidly resist. So FINES should have been brought in a lot sooner.....when spots of self destructive behavior was evident. A pandemic can become self perpetuating....... if not dealt with. We are seeing that.
What is happening in the US is tragic and shameful........ and almost deliberate. Wanna bet they are stupid enough to vote this lunatic in a gain.?
