It encapsulated the fact that, for Hank, recognizing that there is more than one Asian culture was a step forward. Recognizing that there are more than two is a further step for another day.
One of the funniest bits in the TV show "King of the Hill" has the title character, Hank Hill of Texas, talking to his Laotian immigrant neighbor.Those orientals must all look the same , eh ?
