Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Seeing how Walter is a man lacking common sense or a working vocabulary I am confident he would be lacking in other departments as well. And so the rental of a room would be pointless.

I think I can guess one of the departments you'd be talking about. :)

I'd be nervous too, just be mindful and take the necessary precautions. And for the love of God, don't be caught outside of your Truck without a face mask. Like OB, I'm looking forward to more photos/updates.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

So proof then you don't give any thought at all about anyone but yourself...

Okay then, go out, ignore the lockdown, the laws enforcing it or whatever else Britain is doing. Be Free! Fight the power!

Just stop encouraging others to do the same and maybe lives can be saved.

Stop ignoring the lives that will be lost or destroyed thanks to the lockdown.

Your lockdown is killing lots of people, and is doing untold damage to the future lives of millions of children who aren't receiving an education.

Maybe it's time to start looking closer to home and realise that it's your lockdown that is probably going to kill more people than coronavirus.

People should ignore the lockdown and return to their normal lives. That way, many lives will be saved.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Sadly I don't think they would do well, most people place their hero worship on people who are mainly celebs or athletes. I was just drawing attention to that fact. But by all means if you want to be critical of a suggestion that those working to save lives, or those volunteering for research deserve recognition, you are equally free to do so. I am simply of the opinion that people like oh I don't know, Ian Lipkin or Jennifer Haller perhaps deserve a little more recognition at the moment other than Meghan Markle and "how she wore it" today but if you don't, that's okay. It's all personal choice as to where we place our admiration.

I will say this though, many athletes and celebs have made generous contributions whether it be to organizational/support staff losing their jobs to food banks and research etc and so they deserve a ton of credit for doing so.
Well there you go .

President Game Show Host manages to unite Canadians in a common hatred of his worthless soul

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opi...lped-unify-canada-amid-the-covid-19-pandemic/

Donald Trump has helped unify Canada amid the COVID-19 pandemic

When U.S. President Donald Trump ordered 3M to stop shipping respirator masks to Canada and Latin America, reaction across the political spectrum in this country was swift.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford called it unacceptable and a lousy way to treat “friends.” Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe called it “nothing short of a betrayal.”

Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, reminded the White House of the pivotal role that his province, and in particular the town of Gander, played in taking care of stranded American airline passengers after the 9/11 attack. Even Alberta Premier Jason Kenney reminded Mr. Trump that Canada had made “very real sacrifices” on behalf of the U.S. in the global fight against terrorism.

(the erstwhile "like-minded" premiers found out quickly just what a douche their hero was)

Not denying lives will change/be 'destroyed' by the lockdown, but that vs. perpetuation of the virus until the health care system collapses and death of people who don't need to die...

Your lockdown is killing lots of people,

How many and where?

and is doing untold damage to the future lives of millions of children who aren't receiving an education.

If kids aren't being educated, that's on the dumbass parents. Teachers I know all over the place are doing online schooling, lots of parents I know are getting access to educational online tools for their kids to learn. "School" has become home school. If the kids aren't learning, that's on parents not making their kids learn.

Maybe it's time to start looking closer to home and realise that it's your lockdown that is probably going to kill more people than coronavirus.

Again, proof please? Your "probably" vs. the certainty of death to those with immune issues does not equate, sorry.

People should ignore the lockdown and return to their normal lives. That way, many lives will be saved.

Again, go out then. If you think it's bunk, get your ass out, do stuff, ignore the warnings... stop complaining and start doing.

Aw, thanks. To start I'll be doing white bread, then maybe try whole wheat.

Good for you, Mockingbird. I decide to try a sourdough bread. Never made it before but there are dozens of recipes on line so thought I would give it a go. Good luck with your baking.
