What is the Harper Government going to do about the refugee problem boiling up in Alberta? How will adjacent provinces cope with the choked highways leading out of the Golden Province?

Are you genuinely that stupid?

No I'm not. I should have purpled the comment so you would form an idea counter to your impulse by perhaps percieving the attempted humour. I apologise for catching you off guard.

What are we waiting for?

Roméo Dallaire says Canada could take 90,000 Syrian refugees
Syrians would be 'an incredible asset' to Canada, says former UN commander and retired senator

Romeo has what I think is called altruism phycosis and he possibly takes medication and he probably thinks these are real refugees of the classic down trodden type, when they are plainly of the monied class seeking advantage in other nations.

If they want 90,000 middle class Syrians to improve Canada, why not go across the border and import a few more Yanks?

These folks are better educated, speak English, can readily make the transformation, and cost nothing to train or re-educate.

Good thinking Goph! Seriously I do feel sorry for the plight of the Syrians, but we didn't get them into this mess. But more important we have our own messes to sort out. Across Canada there's likely 1/2 million hurting people, let's try to put the world right for them first.

Absolutely.

And nobody (whether on web forums or in the news media) is addressing the fact that by harboring refugees, there is no incentive for Syrians to solve their problems. Instead, they are dumping their problems on everyone else and people are foolishly thinking that everyone is going to benefit from it.

Haven't they seen the Muslim riots in Paris and Marseilles?

Or the fact that Muslim terrorists are being recruited here in Gopherland?

Opening borders only means that problems are being exported - they do not lead to solving of problems overseas. Instead, they create more problems in the countries giving refuge to those escapees.

And sadly our next Prime Minister just may achieve the position based on his stance toward this nonsense.

Interesting article. An outright lie is now called "inaccurate report". No proof is presented that we will not be put at risk. But there is proof that our freedom is put at risk by letting in massive amounts of so called refugees. It is because of actions like this that we require things like Bill C51 and the costs involved in protecting our security. Not to mention an increased load on an already expensive social safety net and ESL courses. All paid for by working Canadians.

So you got nothing then.

That pretty much sums up your C&P.
