Not that well. I had a contract to sell super tankers of ice to rich Mexicans (they insist on cash for some reason) and based on the info I had to get out of it. So far many Pecos have gone under the bridge and they still lack ice that doesn't give you diarrhea. Tard is the right ending, the beginning might have to be modified a bit.

One thing Stephan Dion's carbon pricing plan had -- if you believed what was being sold -- was a compensating income tax decrease to match the carbon tax increase. It was revenue neutral. Sounds like this guy is taking the same approach. The current ecotard Lieberals are using the carbon tax as a revenue source to mask their own economic incompetence.

Revenue neutral for who? Perhaps overall but not for the people that have to use fuel. ANd that is why all carbon taxes are a scam.

Except all of the provincial Conservative leaders and one running to become the PM of Canada.

You guys are in for a long, rocky ride but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I think it is called giving taxpayers what they want. AKA vote buying. And the majority are probably dumb enough to believe it is good for them.

Ontario PC leader Brown bringing progressive stance to old party values

Next week in Vancouver, Patrick Brown, the leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, will speak to a group of gay, lesbian and transgender Tories about equality and how it doesn’t matter who you love.

The very next day, he will speak to another group, telling them that climate change is a threat, man-made, and he’s got a solution to combat it.

“It’s a lot of fun just being yourself,” Mr. Brown said. “Certainly, there were times in Ottawa where I would have taken a different approach [from Mr. Harper’s].”

But added: “Those stories of the Prime Minister’s Office being centralized … there might have been a little truth to that.” That was a reference to the command and control of the caucus emanating from Mr. Harper’s office.

And so, last year, Mr. Brown became the first Ontario PC leader to march in the Toronto Pride Parade. Then, at his party’s convention in Ottawa earlier this year, he surprised many delegates with his statement that climate change was man-made.
