Conservatives and Liberals end 2014 neck and neck

I like my 2015 Liberal candidate so far. I'll wait and see what the competition has to offer. Right now I have an NDP MP.

I quite like mine too. Our current Conservative MP is a dud, a professional politician who was parachuted into the riding and disappeared when he got in.

That sucks.

That might even put me off voting Conservative.

That or being in Fantino's riding.....nope, just nope.

Yeah, the best thing recommending the candidate I support is that he had to be talked into running. That should be a prerequisite for the job!

Due to the supremes having the final vote it would be very difficult for any majority party to initiate legislation that is totally off the wall and have it stick. But a far left government could cause short term economic havoc.

Anything stupid would be revoked, in the next term.

I already know who my Liberal candidate will be in the next federal election. I emailed her asking, acknowledging that inflation and interest rates will likely rise in the next few years, whether she would tend towards raising revenues +taxes, fees, fines, etc.), reduce overall government expenditure, some combination of the above, or something else among other questions. She said she will answer me in January.

You have to watch it, they lie..............you believe NOTHING they say!

I'll definitely watch for weasel words.

Last provincial election I'd voted for my local Progressive Conservative candidate, purely on principle. He didn't stand a chance (provincially we are Liberal and Federally NDP). I just do not believe in strategic voting. My candidate has never won yet in all these years. I guess it doesn't bode well for my federal Liberal candidate if I like her so far.

That would not prevent short term economic problems. And stupid cannot always be revoked without political consequences. Case in point; When the NDP was in power in BC in the 90's they took a whole bunch of working forest and made it into parks and preserves but due in large part to the high number of economically disfunctional people in BC revoking that status would be political suicide.

If that is all it takes to keep just-in from power please vote liberal.

Sense of humour I see. If I do decide to vote for my Liberal candidate, I'll make sure she knows of my track record. Let her panic.

New Trudeau Theme Song?

LOVE the tune.

Standard disclaimer: polls 10 months before an election mean very little.

According to the pretty pictures in the link, older people are smarter.

A LOT smarter.
