Conservative Canada Apology To The World

You're making stuff up. 76% of Canadians claim membership in one of the Christian denominations.

This does not imply either a devoted member or a belief in Biblical teachings one way or the other.

Again, the obvious is logical. If the majority of people in this country were actually believers in the Bible, we would be living in a Christian theocracy and this would not be an issue at all.
You teach from the bible and you say HE is making stuff up??? :)

Maybe he'll get lucky and someone will host a television programme on what tonnington wrote?

That's grounds for dismissal on the Fox network...Unless it's a question from 'Are you smarter than a fifth grader'.

Maybe I am wrong.

But if your a Catholic, Protestant, Christian, or Christian Orthodox, am I wrong to assume that you believe in the Bible as the word of God... its the foundation of all those religions.

Am I wrong to assume if your a Catholic you dismiss the Bible.

Come on!

The Bible is not the foundation of Catholic or Orthodox bodies. Christ is. The Bible is the book of the Church, the Church is not a creation of the Bible(Before you yip back, the Church existed several hundred years BEFORE what we have as the 73 books of the Bible came to be)

How did they know what to preach before the bible? What did they teach??

Religion as a whole is far older than even christianity. It is a relatively new religion. There are many very interesting religions around the globe, and there are many very interesting religions that have died out.

I have all sorts of proof, none which I assume you'd accept. And either way, that is not the point of this thread.
Why do you assume I would not accept it? If it's solid evidence, then I will accept it. If it is unrefuteable, I will accept it.

What I ask is perfectly in line with this thread...many of those groups we are talking about are religious based...this is a discussion that pits my views against yours in our own personal sense...and, as a microrepresentation, illustrates the same issues that are being faced in the nation over this unfortunatly divisive issue. So, when I ask you these question, or question something you are saying, it is within the context of the whole debate...and the side that you represent vs the side that I represent (or partially represent, or whatever). So, I feel that what I am bringing up fits in well with the discussion.

This has what to do with the Conservative issued apology or our government?

I have no intention of discussing this issue on this thread. I could care less what your opinions are on Catholic theology. Is that plain enough for you?

Plain as the Host. (not implying the Host is ordinary, just the taste) ;)
