The Republican congress won't impeach Trump until association with him damages their electoral prospects, and even then that won't happen until they get through massive cuts and leave millions of sick people out in the street to die. The party of death has a good thing going right now. Lots of blood can be spilled and lots of money can be made.

During the election, Republicans tried to distance themselves from Trump and it backfired, so they fell back in line with their tails between their legs. They don't have the political will to oppose Trump.
