Between now and May 6 there will be life altering climate and wardrobe change.

I'm actually far more interested in seeing Dwight Yoakam, but alas, i am slated to be out of town then

Santana is on tour too. Calgary tonight I believe.

Everything here is booked so he is doing Sakatoon on the 13th, Winnepeg on 14th.

He'll be singing about the ninas and ninos

How is High River doing these days? They really got hammered, but I never heard much except for the RCMP "seizing" firearms, and getting in trouble for it. Were any Mounties held accountable?

Going to make a wild guess here - the twit listers don't think there is climate change and/or climate change is normal and/or climate change is a liberal plot.

They are also taking steps to mitigate climate change

High River is as close to back to normal as it will likely get.

Some of those communities really suffered, but the gvt did step in and attempt some form of financial mitigation (albeit no one came out entirely whole).

The RCs did get into some peoples homes, supposedly as a measure to check in on peoples property relative to theft and looting. They did come across a number of firearms and did confiscate them. Some folks stated that they were targeted by the RCs because of the weapons but i am on the fence on that one.

Because of where we're at right now, with a snow pack that has lingered around longer than normal (fewer chinooks), I would not be surprised if the rivers and creeks break their banks again this year... Hopefully not, but all of the elements are in place unfortunately

A subsity on snow removal equipment , tax insentives, etc are in order, snow removal is a growth industry budding before our very eyes. You,d have to be stupid to not see that. Of course there is Ottawa, poor us, I see misery in our future, and drifts of white death

Obnly alchoal can preserve you in a snow drift overnight.

Gotta tell ya, the general scenery around these parts is absolutely spectacular, particularly the mountains.

That said, if som eunusally warm weather comes around AND some rain, it will be mayhem in these parts

Other than a primitive form of exercise, shovels are obsolete.

A snowblower and gas leaf blower get the job done well

You 're of course insane, because of your reliance on petrochemicals to remove your snow encombrance, the shovel rules, if you can,t you die, the law of winter is simple, why can,t you understand that?
