I'll wait until it comes on Spike then purposely forget to set the DVR.
You are sooooo badass!

They DID pull it!
Sony says they are considering a video on demand release.
Typical liberal Hollywood. Weak and cowardly.
Just like Hollywood changing the terrorists from the Tom Clancy novel "The Sum of All Fears" from Islamic Extremist to E. European/Russian Neo-Nazi White Supremacists when they made it into a movie.
Frigging Affleck, what a douche.
I think that from here on out... all villains will be middle aged, American, white dudes.
So much safer!
Excellent! Plenty of work for Kurtwood Smith!
Hollywood better play it safe now.
They better start portraying Kim Jong-Un as the hero, leading NBA scorer, Sprint Cup Winning, Olympic Gold Medalist, azz kicking, leader that he is.
actually that would work here. We'd all know the idiocy of it and the mockery would be even more epic.
It makes you wonder what NK is holding back if what you mentioned is all that's been released. Cause it's all pretty vanilla, given the grand scheme of things.
Maybe they have info that Obama isn't actually Obama, but a clone who's been surgically altered to look like Obama but is in fact....
Clearly this event will be the end of Western civilisation, such as it is.
I am just speculating but I would bet that they released what they did to warn and punish. And then threatened Sony saying that what they released is just the tip of the iceberg of what they found and if they go forward with releasing the movie they would release all of the dirty laundry.
Did you see Sharpton being interviewed last night? He said that a decision has not been made on Amy Pascal as of yet but talked of the white domination of Hollywood and how a long term program (so to speak) must be worked out.
In other words... one check isn't going to do this time. This is going to need to be a long term investment by Pascal and Sony to Sharpton.
Outside of your tomfoolery.... what do you think it means?
except it wasn't Sony that first decided to not release the movie. It was movie theatres not wanting the responsiblity of added security because of terrorist threats made to the theatres that played it.
Now, in toronto there's a guy who's going to play the movie. So it's the movie is being released...
I think it means that Sony chose the path of least potential liability. That's what corporations do. Their job is to make money, not moral stands.
I don't expect any change. My take on that was that these theaters were more concerned about being hacked as well. I know they said they were concerned about patron safety but I bet AMC Theaters, Showcase Theaters, etc. were more concerned with having all their emails exposed, finances read, malware, etc.
Just an opinion.
Agreed.
I meant going forward.
