I'll put this out there once more for Danbones who thinks posting old articles as new threads will confuse people from the cold, hard truth.

What was Russia’s role in the election?

• Russian security agencies infiltrated Democratic National Committee email servers last year and again this spring, according to American intelligence assessments and several independent security firms. The Russians also hacked a private email account belonging to John D. Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

• This summer, intermediaries linked to the Russian government passed the emails to WikiLeaks and to an anonymous WordPress blog called Guccifer 2.0. Those outlets released the emails publicly, generating weeks of unfavorable coverage of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign.

Why do you think Danbones is freaking out by trying to distract from this thread?

White House: 'Ample Evidence' Trump Knew About Russia Hacks | The Daily Caller

Even the staunchest Trump supporter can't seriously suggest it's acceptable for a country's leader to assist foreign nations in using espionage against democratic elections...unless they just don't care about democracy. Do you really think the Trumpites hate democracy or are they just too stupid or stubborn to admit they were had (assuming what is generally acknowledged is confirmed)?

Personally, I think it's embarrassment. They were frothing at the mouth for months about alleged crimes committed by Clinton. These, as it turns out, were groundless while the guy they supported now seems as crooked as a dogs hind leg. It takes humility and maturity to admit you're wrong. Do you think any of the Trumpites here have it in them?

Do you really want a party who obviously is incapable of securing e-mail servers running the country? It is a rather good thing they lost. And the irony of losing to unsecured e-mails is kind of delightfully ironic.

But what does DNC security have to do with Trump again?

Yup blame the victim. Using that idiotic logic, we shouldn't have a Republican in the Whitehouse because they were incapable of protecting Americans on 9/11

Hmmmm...haven't heard that one since I was 7 years old on the playground. Didn't know it was still a valid argument

I think, since the Trumpites clearly believe the CIA is utterly useless, they must believe we should get rid of it. Maybe the Americans can ask Russia to handle all current CIA operations

HAS THE CIA GONE ROGUE? Shockingly, the CIA refused to brief the House Intelligence Committee on its allegations that Russia tried to manipulate U.S. elections, allegations that the CIA had leaked to the Washington Post.

This is the Congressional Committee that has oversight authority over the CIA that they thumbing it nose at. In a democratic republic this could hardly be more serious.

there, if the cia hasn't passed evidence of this russian hack, nor has the 17 other agencies, up to their boss, guess it can't be true
