Are they on some kind of hallucinogenic drug over there in the Vatican? Geesh.

Warts? I plucked one out of my nose about two years ago then plastered the wound with Lipactin. Healed up nicely and the wart never came back. Lipactin is great for cold sores as well, especially if you put it on just as you feel the cold sore coming on.

In the Last Whole Earth Catalogue there was a small piece called "How I got rid of Planters Warts with Voodoo and a Swiss army knife." The guy claims he dug at them with his knife while telling them they were not wanted. Eventually they went away but they left small craters in his skin.

That actually works, but a Swiss army knife is not necessary. Almost any sharp instrument will do. And you really don't need the Voodoo chants.

The Devil? Well, of course he is, given the huge number of sex scandals that have developed in almost every country where the Roman Catholic Church has operated.

The sex has always been there, it is just that with the internet and international news, it is getting harder to hide. To me, Paul preferred boys to women (as seen in his writings) and since teh Church (as well as most of Christianity ) is based mostly on Paul's writing, buggering boys is institutionalized from the beginning. It is just in the last few decades that the public has decided it is deviant behaviour and the media has decided to make it a scandal to sell print.

Well I was going to post something like "Why would he say the Vatican was possession free, he would be laid off with a note saying "Thanks for a job well done, bye."

Then I read Cliffy's little post ....... if Paul was promoting all you say he was then why is the RCC taking most of the hits in the pedophile abuses. If the conduct was based on Paul all other denominations would also be doing the same thing. They are either hiding it better or is isn't happening.

Let me guess that one of your issues is the statement, "Let the women be silent on Church". That may not be as demeaning as you think. The Bible states that the man is the head of the house. He makes the final decisions, that doesn't mean the wife and kids have no input, just the final decision is made by the man. Si in a formal social setting the man would state the position that his family has. One voice for one family.
These are Paul's words in a letter sent to a woman who has many children (people she has brought to the Church)

2Jo:1:1:
The elder unto the elect lady and her children,
whom I love in the truth;
and not I only,
but also all they that have known the truth;
2Jo:1:4:
I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth,
as we have received a commandment from the Father.
2Jo:1:13:
The children of thy elect sister greet thee.
Amen.

Here is the proof that she was there from when Jesus came back from the wilderness.
2Jo:1:5:
And now I beseech thee,
lady,
not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee,
but that which we had from the beginning,
that we love one another.
2Jo:1:6:
And this is love,
that we walk after his commandments.
This is the commandment,
That, as ye have heard from the beginning,
ye should walk in it.

God allows Disciples to be married, it is the RCC that denies that truth as well as a whole lot more that they have saddled the people with that God never supported. That is why their services are so 'elaborate'. Just the few verses that say a woman has brought many into the flock is a contradiction to what the RCC has taught over the last 1800 years. That nobody ever confronts them must have the rolling on the floor in hysterics. Apparently the sheep really are quite easily led down the garden path.

Wondered how long it would take you to jump in and bash the Holy Roman Catholic Church too. Thank you for being as predictable as the rest.

It is a lead-pipe cinch that a very large portion of the claims of abuse by Catholic priests is nothing more than copy-cat, because it is fashionable and VERY profitable to bash all Christians in general, and Roman Catholics in particular.

Be glad it is the leadership that is being attacked rather than the sheep. Who rules who, do the people rule the leadership or do the (very few) leaders rule the sheep with an iron hand? That isn't bashing as all Churches suffer from straying from the path. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan could not happen without the blessing of 'the other denominations' in America. Some well connected Christians said some very unChristian things about the people of Haiti not very long ago, I'm quite happy to bash their conduct so the RCC is not being singled out by me. If any Church is breaking His Laws then they will pay the price and nobody should be supporting them. Plain and simple.

The verses I posted indicated that women are just a capable of bringing the 'good news' to others in such a way as they become believers. Which Church has ever promoted that idea in the last 2,000 years. I can't think of one, that is a deliberate deception by all the Churches.

The Vatican's chief exorcist says that the Devil is lurking at the very heart of the Roman Catholic Church and that he has been attacking the Holy See.

Father Gabriele Amorth, who believes people who are possessed by Satan vomit shards of glass and pieces of iron, says that the Christmas Eve assault on the Pope and the sex scandals which have engulfed the Catholic Church are proof that Satan is waging a war against the Catholic Church.

The Pope is to make a rare visit to Protestant Britain later this year, for the first time since 1982, despite the fact that England got rid of the Pope's authority over its church in 1534.

The Devil is lurking in the very heart of the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican's chief exorcist claimed on Wednesday.

Father Gabriele Amorth said people who are possessed by Satan vomit shards of glass and pieces of iron.

He added that the assault on Pope Benedict XVI on Christmas Eve by a mentally unstable woman and the sex abuse scandals which have engulfed the Church in the US, Ireland, Germany and other countries, were proof that the Anti-Christ was waging a war against the Holy See.

"The Devil resides in the Vatican and you can see the consequences," said Father Amorth, 85, who has been the Holy See's chief exorcist for 25 years.

"He can remain hidden, or speak in different languages, or even appear to be sympathetic. At times he makes fun of me. But I'm a man who is happy in his work."

While there was "resistance and mistrust" towards the concept of exorcism among some Catholics, Pope Benedict XVI has no such doubts, Father Amorth said. "His Holiness believes wholeheartedly in the practice of exorcism. He has encouraged and praised our work," he added.

The evil influence of Satan was evident in the highest ranks of the Catholic hierarchy, with "cardinals who do not believe in Jesus and bishops who are linked to the demon," Father Amorth said.

In a rare insight into the world of exorcism, the Italian priest told La Repubblica newspaper that the 1973 film The Exorcist gave a "substantially exact" impression of what it was like to be possessed by the Devil.

People possessed by evil sometimes had to be physically restrained by half a dozen people while they were exorcised. They would scream, utter blasphemies and spit out sharp objects, he said.

"From their mouths, anything can come out – pieces of iron as long as a finger, but also rose petals," said Father Amorth, who claims to have performed 70,000 exorcisms. "When the possessed dribble and slobber, and need cleaning up, I do that too. Seeing people vomit doesn't bother me. The exorcist has one principal duty - to free human beings from the fear of the Devil."

The attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II by a Turkish gunman in 1981 and recent revelations of "violence and paedophilia" committed by Catholic priests against children in their care was also the work of the Devil, said Father Amorth, who has written a book about his vocation, Memoirs of an Exorcist, which was published recently.

Father Amorth, who is the president of the Association of Exorcists and fought as a partisan during the war, has previously claimed that both Hitler and Stalin were possessed by the Devil.

In an interview with Vatican Radio in 2006, he said: "Of course the Devil exists and he can not only possess a single person but also groups and entire populations.

"I am convinced that the Nazis were all possessed. All you have to do is think about what Hitler and Stalin did."

He also condemned the Harry Potter books, saying they were dangerous because they dabbled in the occult and failed to draw a clear distinction between "the Satanic art" of black magic and benevolent white magic.

He's my Counsel, my brother and my friend. Paolo has come into my life a few weeks ago. He came here for a job and we put him up.

Paola and I are very close. He's sufferred a toothache this week, but had the tooth pulled and is OK now.

I don't know what the pontiff could be thinking.

Who do you think she called her father, the Pope or God?

If you want condemnation, defend the Catholic schooling of Canada's Native Children over the last 100 years.

I didn't put the kissing of his hand/ring ritual in there.

What the hell is your point?

Mother Theresa, like every other Catholic considers God to be our Father, and the Pope to be the leader and head of His Church here on earth.

You think I'm disparaging the Catholic Church?

My goodness no, they're Fine.

Judge the tree by its fruit.

Paolo was given the name "The Column of Enlightenment" and that position was given to the Church.

They will be most prominent in healing. Benedict has the "technology" in Him
Listen to what he is saying....
