I don't think the "no pissing on someone's grave for 30 days rule" should apply to war criminals and mass murderers. Anyone care to attempt prove Chavez is either?
Chavez has a better record regarding starting unprovoked wars of aggression and number of innocent civilian deaths than US President George W. Bush.
Unlike recently deceased war criminal and mass murderer General Norman Schwarzkopf, Chavez never gave an order to slaughter disarmed retreating soldiers in violation of an agreement to prevent a city's destruction. (@20,000 dead Iraqi soldiers, mostly involuntary conscripts in their late teens and early 20's)
Unlike recently deceased war criminal and mass murderer General Norman Schwarzkopf, Chavez never gave orders to drop millions of leaflets and radio broadcasts into a sovereign country encouraging a popular revolt with promises of military support and then did nothing as the people revolted. ( @ 100,000 dead Iraqi civilians as a result)
If you want to debate those statements about war criminal mass murderer Schwarzkopf, that would be on topic here:

Chavez came to power by democratic elections. He was re-elected, proving he represented the will of more Venezuelans than any other candidate. While Venezuela's wealthy elite and foreign investors took a hit under Chavez, Venezuela's middle and poor class are far better off now than they were before Chavez came to power.
Chavez's worst offenses:
Property Expropriation: Landowners with giant estates who were not using all their land, faced expropriation of unused land. If they could prove they were using it, they could keep it. Expropriated land was then sold at affordable prices to people who would use the land to generate economic activity or build homes.
Increased Resource Royalties: Resource extraction companies (oil) have to pay far more now for the right to exploit Venezuela's resources than they did before Chavez came to power. But the terms are still far more generous than what corporations have to pay in Canada or the US to do the same thing.
