havent offended me...you just bore me.....why do you ask questions when sanctus never, but never, replies to anything you write?(or havent you noticed)
Soooo....why are you on these forums exactly? All I have ever seen you do is...well...be a total bitch. So, what is your purpose on here again? I'm not following things. So what...so he doesn't answer me. That's his choice. I choose to post the questions. Sometimes others answer. What's the problem? If you don't like it, I don't believe I, or anyone else are forcing you to read my posts.

Because I hate myself...I dunno. Because someone like Herman will come along, or Karrie and answer some questions, or put me in my place...I learn from it....I learn from people...just because sanctus doesn't respond to me doesn't mean others don't. Besides, why not post a question. If I have a question, it stands more of a chance of being answered than if I don't post it. Sanctus isn't the only one who can answer religion based questions.

where does this data come from?

If you read and study your bible with tenacity, the Lord will give you answers. You will learn that Gods loves for you to seek Him out. I mean by that, that God enjoys you or I learning with great desire in our hearts about Him.

Amo 5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:

Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

Don't be content with just what you know, but if you love God, try to learn all you can about Him.

I'm not sure I agree, to be honest with you. Israel has already been re-established ... the Church is now the chosen people, the set aside ones, for God.

This is probably not the answer you were seeking, but I suspect when Christ does return it will not be in the context of the pentecostal version of same.

I disagree that Israel has been reestablished as that would entail universal redemption {Zech 9:9; Isa 11:11; etc}. However, I agree that Christians are the Chosen and that this includes all 12 tribes, and all Muslims as they acknowledge Jesus as Messiah. See Galatians 3:26-29 for the expanded definition of the Chosen.

She seems to have a problem with people posting or something. I don't get it. I'm not sure why she bothers if so many of us are bothering her by...*gasp*...posting!

I can understand her concern. And I am tolerant. I hope to help her understand that I am not her enemy in the word, but just trying to expand understanding a bit to her.

I wonder what that means....no sincere prayer goes unwasted? Well...what does that mean, exactly? If you are sincere about it, no matter what you pray for, you get? I don't understand. What does unwasted mean?

It means, even though I am not a believer in "god", a prayer will still reach me, and please me.

since this thread is catholic discussion..is this in accordance with catholic doctine? if not, what do you bother??????????????????

Is there a rule that only catholics can discuss catholic issues, how about non catholics who have
questions about catholocism, I am a non believer, and I don't mind at all, if you want to ask me
questions about my non belief.

Uhhh...noooo...I'm just trying to understand the statement. Is that so terrible? Am I doing something so horribly wrong again? Have I offended once more by asking a question? I'm such a jerk for asking stuff....man.

Its your "completely" sarcastic style, bothers some, for me it's "just'" amusing.

Well, what can I reply? I look at an atlas and I see the state of Israel?:) The chosen people refers to the Church. Muslims do not acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah.

Muslims do not acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah.

You missed my earlier posts on the subject -- shame, shame!

One more time -- Jesus is Messiah: Koran, Sura 4, Lines 155, 168.

You must have misunderstood the Koran. The Muslim faith regards Jesus as another prophet. Mohammed is the one they have chosen as the "one".

I think she was not suggesting that non-Catholics can post, rather, questioning why AJ posts theological material contrary to the Church.

I am trying to say the Rosary daily ). Unfortunately I get distracted. Also I am not sure if I am doing this correctly.

(I do this alone) For each decade, I say the Our Father. Then while I am saying the 10 Hail Mary’s I try to think about various aspects about the mystery that I am saying. However I find that I cannot easily do that – and my concentration suddenly drifts to something that has happened during the day (while I am continuing saying the Hail Mary’s). I then feel that I have not thought much about the mystery and end up saying more than 10 Hail Marys most of the time.

Is this the correct way of doing this. Also any suggestions for avoiding distractions? (I think I get more distracted because I am doing two things at the same time – if I am just simply praying I don’t get so distracted.)

Are there any rosary groups at your parish? I find praying the rosary with other people very helpful spiritually.
