There is *some* validity to the "there should be qualifications" comment.

Ministers of Health should come from a health background (doctor, nurse, etc).

Minister of AG should have some knowledge of the AG sector beyond just basic "Farmers grow food or give us food".

Minister of Justice should have law knowledge/a degree in a law related field.

Minister of Finance should have a lean towards economics and finance.

Minister of Foreign Affairs should have political science and diplomacy.

Indigenous Affairs should BE Indigenous but also have education in Indigenous issues.

DND should be a military person or military affiliated (Reservist for example).

Anything "Social" - children, families, housing, etc - should have someone with a sociology background of some sort.

And so on.
