Grow up.

Indeed but there is one thing everyone is overlooking, he is a builder.

Everyone agrees there is a desperate need for infrastructure.

Trump knows the price of concrete, rebar, aggregates, equipment and labour to cost jobs.

America could be getting the most bang for their buck and a faster cheaper return to "greatness".

Absolutely, buying concrete is an executive level decision so the US will save a ton.

Where the hell did I say anything even approaching that? That Trump (or Hillary) was anywhere near the best choice? If you had read anything I've written on trump, you'd know I agreed that he is "a bigoted, misogynistic, self admitted sexual predator" and a liar and a moron to boot. But he is now the President, fairly elected, and one should for a moment stand back and let him work. You can jump all over him if/when he screws up.

Gerry.....attack me for what I say, fine. I would, however, appreciate if you would refrain from putting words in my mouth that I never said, and that I strongly disagree with, and then attacking me on that basis.

Right on Colpy- there's protestors in Portland Ore. right now smashing windows and cars! How bright is that, far worse than anything Trump said let alone did. I can understand people disagreeing with Trump but don't be a hypocrite about it. Like you say let him do his job. Regardless, the Clinton regime is gone!

It'll be hard to pad contracts.

From a concrete plant at the cheapest price that can be negotiated which means not from Canada. Any more idiotic questions

It forced BC contractors to buy out of country.

Cement Industry Welcomes B.C. Government Action on Carbon Tax

Changes will help in protecting B.C. jobs, economic development, and the environment

VICTORIA, February 17, 2015 – The Cement Association of Canada (CAC) welcomes the B.C. government’s efforts to improve the Province’s carbon tax. The B.C. Carbon Tax is applied only to domestically produced cement while imported cement from the US and Asia is exempt, resulting in net losses to both the B.C. economy and the broader fight to reduce GHGs. With local manufacturers facing higher costs under the carbon tax, cement imports from jurisdictions without a carbon policy have risen significantly, as have the GHGs associated with transporting that cement from foreign markets.

This is hilarious, how could anyone but a third rate idiot disagree with post #165?

There are a few of those on here and right now they are completely butthurt and need to vent through their tears. Does that explain it clear enough?

And any Trump like candidate in Canada.

Not only did 70 per cent of respondents indicate they are unsatisfied with Trump’s win, they are also losing faith in our neighbours to the south. Less than a third (30 per cent) of poll respondents agreed they “trust the judgement of the American electorate.”

However, political candidates should take Trump’s win with a grain of salt. Less than a quarter (23 per cent) of poll respondents said a Trump-style candidate would have a shot at becoming Canada’s prime minister.

Trump’s election could do a number on the U.S. hospitality industry: Half of poll respondents said they will avoid travelling to the country “for at least the first few years of the Trump presidency.”

Predictions for Trump having a positive impact was not wide-spread: More than half of poll respondents feel his influence will be a negative one on things like climate change and trade, as well as both the United States and the world.

Canadians disagree with Donald Trump’s victory

You share these views because you do not understand democracy. The collage made the democratic choice following the will of the majority. Yer a Nazi.

These whinners wanted change, like hell they did!
