Everyone was led to the "trough" by the always "implying" CBC....in their article which said nothing about the cause of the death...

Reuters could care less apparently.... and CTV has already reported the source of the gunfire...

OTTAWA, March 6 (Reuters) - A Canadian soldier taking part in an offensive against Taliban militants in southern Afghanistan was killed on Tuesday and unconfirmed reports say he may have been accidentally shot by one of his colleagues, CTV television said.
No one was immediately available for comment at the Defence Department. If the report is confirmed it would be the 45th soldier Canada has lost in Afghanistan since sending troops to the war-torn country in 2002.
Canadian soldiers are taking part in a NATO offensive against the Taliban that began on Tuesday.

Oh really? Well it looks like you guys are picking up on that hobby as I don't see them blaming the US Military. That would tell me that it is a fellow Canadian that killed this soldier. I am sure it will be brushed under the rug because freindly fire is usually in conjunction with the US.
Simple fact is that US people have been involved in more "friendly fire" incidents than anyone else, so it's a good bet that it was a US round that killed the guy. I don't see them blaming anyone yet.

Doesn't matter if CBC isn't writing out the cause of death of this young soldier.... they have already conditioned the nation to believe it was probably a U.S. "friendly fire" incident.

Could it be that there are more battlefield killings of allied forces by the U.S. because there are more U.S. military in the ME... hello.

Good fella - keep your mind wired shut.... that'll get er done

As I said, it's a pretty good bet.

You are right EagleSmack, we Canadians are every bit as stupid as you Americans, I won't be brushing it under the rug, when the rest of the story comes out we will no doubt find out it was a guy he played with in Stellarton a few short years ago.

It says that he was shot in his tent.

I didn't know US troops and Canadian troops bivouac together. Now don't try to talk to me about the velocity of an M-16 round.

You KNOW and I KNOW it was a Canadian that did it. If it wasn't you all would be calling for the US Soldiers head. Now... you are reaping what you sow. Your very own Blue on Blue to a nation that critisizes everyone else.

That is because we are the only ones who put as many boots on the ground and planes in the air. Maybe that is a good thing (See Rawanda)

Looking for something that isn't there?

What exactly did the CBC imply?

The cause of death was a gunshot to the lung so they didn't leave it out the cause of death.

It was not from unfriendly fire.....2+2=4.

Oogy boogy woogy the CBC is up to something everyone get on your tin foil hats before they read your minds.
