Heartless? What's with that?? It's not a single.

Anyhow - GOOD! Ha.

But it's a cover! <just thought I'd be the first to say it.

So, re that weird review of Adam's concert in the Huston Chronicle - here is an apology.

Adam Lambert: Reviewing Our Review - Houston Music - Rocks Off

I couldn't care less about this stupid article or the apology - but that comment about many people believing Kris won due to conservative churches organizing a vote for him, against Adam? Uh...whaaat? Many people believe this? Where? Planet Fierce? :angry5:

I'm at least glad that he never feels the need to go all bombastic on these songs

Thank god. Playing the guitar though is different - I don't think people generally do that - do they?

But it's a cover! <just thought I'd be the first to say it.

Is it by the Script?

and Wow.. The Houston paper backs down. Guess they didn't really mean the review afterall.

Planet Fierce?

Pretty much.

Anyway, I've been voting on VH1 because the song might be done, but no one's really heard it - might as well get it as much exposure as can be squeezed out.

Did you guys see Oliver and Sebastian's song for Season 3 of Being Erica?

YouTube - Hard To Go- Full Version from Being Erica (with lyrics)

I really love it.

I can't believe they apologized, LOL. That review was crap anyway, but I don't really see how it needed an apology.

Yep, Planet Fierce.

Apparently, Jive changed their minds about Archie's single. The reliable IdolsNow tweeted that the song Elevator would be his first official single, even though they released a fancy video for uh, the other song, Something About Love(?). And I continue having my serious doubts about whether they actually know what they're doing. Why so sonfusing, Jive?

I really love it.

I heard it, but it didn't really register. But, it was the same thing with Alien Like You and now I love it. I'll give it some time. The song was actually played during season 2. maybe it'll get more play during season 3.

because the song might be done

What do you mean?

Oh, I don't think it's done. Don't ask mewhy. Not all songs perform in neat little patterns. I don't think it will ever be huge, but I don't think it's done. It's still on Ryan's Seacrest's Adult Top 40 at something like #21, isn't it? That's not done.

I agree about voting on VH1. I'm continuing to vote, too. Screw the bastards!

I wonder where that creation station is? I mean, Conway, I guess - but where?

Here's the chart I was talking about. TT at #21 (up two spots), LLWD at #29 (stays in the same spot).

Hot Ac Chart for the week of September 11, 2010 - American Top 40 With Ryan Seacrest

By contrast (or not), Adam's IIHY is #20 on pop. So this is a huge hit? Okay, it sold a lot more on iTunes to his fans but as to radio play...well, it's on HAC, also, at #30. But I haven't heard it for weeks.

I don't know how they determine the American Top 40, anyway. I do wish TT would get played on pop, but it isn't really the type.

I'm not sure I ever heard this song (which kind of makes sense)

It's sort of the "alternate national anthem". Some people think it should be (I'm not one of them - though I like it).

YouTube - David Archuleta - US Open - America The Beautiful

I'm surprised David has to breathe in the middle of words. "Shi" (gasp) "ning sea."

YouTube - Kelly Clarkson - America The Beautiful (live) 07/04/03 NYC

Some Keith - Kris pix.

Yep! Screw the bastards! LOL I'm gonna vote for it.

Pop has a much bigger audience though, so even if it's lower on the charts, it has a larger group of people that know about it. You're right, TT is just not a pop song, not unless it reached the top of the HAC charts and got played like something like Hey Soul Sister. Then it might do something on Pop. Or Kris did something quasi-scandalous - because clearly if you're scandalous everything thing you sing is pop.

I have NO IDEA how they determine the American Top 40 - they might pick songs out of a hat. It makes no sense.

That makes sense. Though I never hear Daughtry on Pop - is he on the list? I'm too sleepy to check. I guess you can get famous without having hits on pop.

Oh! I love that..

"Do it ba-beee - to the stage............."

Awesome. There were a lot of people there for them too. I remember watching the red rocks camera and it looked like there were, but it's nice to see up close.

How so? It looks fairly benign.

Well, just speaking for myself, here, but Idol always manages to piss me off in the way they handle anything Kris-related. So I just assume they will also do something in this case to piss me off.

"Fridge full of nothing, maybe just sweaty meat, and cheese." That is a Jacob Hoggard line if I ever heard one. Those guys remind me of each other sometimes.

Is that is the Mississippi River behind them? Must be.

I am so sick of having to hear about Adam Lambert for the rest of my freaking lfe, just because I'm a fan of Kris Allen. Anyone else? Okay, just me.

The Red Rocks video was cool. The Heartless - AWM video was also cool.

Well, I hate that every interviewer feels the need to ask Kris about Adam, and yet the same interviewers never ask Adam about Kris. So yeah that bugs. I don't hate hearing about Adam when it's an Adam thing.

Unless of course they put down Kris. LOL - Then I get mad.

I'm a Canadian fan of American Idol and I've just found this thread. Is this just for Kris Allen fans? I didn't even know Kris is popular in Canada lol. Anyway, here is this week's Top 10 of Idol Airplay chart (source: USA Today.com). Looks like Archie's new single has flopped. It seems to me that major radio stations are shunning him. I'm not sure that "Elevator" will do better :(

1 1 Adam Lambert, If I Had You (6774) (#20 Hot AC, #18 Top 40)
2 2 Daughtry, September (5504) (#21 AC, #4 Hot AC, #38 Top 40)
3 5 Adam Lambert, Whataya Want From Me (4197) (#8 AC)
4 3 Fantasia, Bittersweet (4165) (#14 Urban, #2 Urban AC)
5 4 Carrie Underwood, Undo It (3890)
6 8 Kris Allen, Live Like We're Dying (3575) (#10 AC)
7 6 Daughtry, Life After You (3562) (#6 AC)
8 7 Kelly Clarkson, Already Gone (3448 )
9 9 Carrie Underwood, Before He Cheats (2263)
10 10 Daughtry, No Surprise (2175)

Hi, CaspuleNeo! No, this place is not only for Kris Allen fans! It's just that the three of us who participate here are big Kris Allen fans, so that's why there's a lot of talk about him on there.

I do wonder about Archie's single as well. I like Elevator better than Something About Love, but I might not be the target public for Archie.

So, The Truth is not on that Airplay chart? That's kind of sad.

HI CaspuleNeo! Yeah, we'll talk about anyone really.

I didn't even know Kris is popular in Canada lol.

Yeah, sadly he's not. But, we live in hope, and all that. :) And he's my fave so I tend to know what's going on with him more so than others. (Also he's brilliant.. lol)

I liked Something About Love but I have to admit that I like Elevator better. The Elevator go up... Elevator go dowwwwwn.. part is really catchy. I hope it does better. I always wonder how radio decides what to support. It seems so arbitrary doesn't it?

I also have to admit If I Had You is doing like WAY better than I thought it would on radio. I'm not a huge fan of the song, but it does sound great on the radio and the video is really fun. Did you see that they're releasing Fever for Adam overseas?

Did you guys see this?

@krisallen, matt giraud, and allison iraheta in my psych book... on Twitpic

Hee ! :)
