always love the opportunity to publicly praise Adam Lambert as the innovative artist and beautiful spirited person that he is! I'll elaboarate; Hot & sexy,charismatic, brilliant & outrageous vocals, a sweetness that can't be denied, the ability to be totally himself, incredible work ethic, and he's becoming very successful because of all that. Oh and I forgot to mention he's gay, which for some strange reason, makes him all that HOTTER to me! If I really wanted to go overboard, I would add that he is the new guru of love and light in the universe, spreading positivity where e're he treads! I adore Adam lambert and thank you for the opportunity to tell everyone so, once again!! Let me also quickly add that time is running out to catch a Glam Nation concert here in the states, but Adam's overseas tour begins end of the month.

I have no idea how they do it either. I'd be stuck in the nose-bleed sections. seriously. LMAO. I suck.

I thought Kris's speech was really heartfelt. Not overprepared, but very well done. (eeek! No Boundaries!! It's the original song that wouldn't die)

MITM was beautiful though, seriously beautiful. If I didn't already virtually follow the guy like a stalker, that would convince me. Kris really loves that song. :)

I always miss his twitter parties. *sob* If he had answered more than 10 questions, he could have trended everywhere. I wonder why Philadelphia though?

Of course it's up to Kris, but if I was being inducted into the thing, I'd have prepared a few words, so I wouldn't stand there saying, "This is awesome." (Or, "Adam should have won this." Wait, that was the other time.) I thought he seemed a bit at a loss for words, but maybe I was imagining it. I thought the stuff he said after he sang was more like it. Anyhow, the whole thing was kick awesome.

So, what do you think about Kris going to Europe for a week, for the USO? Rumor is it's the Netherlands and...where else? Somewhere else. (There are US troops in the Netherlands?) (Theo seems to have gotten the better assignment.) I hope the band is going.

I hope the band goes too.. and yeah who knew there was a Netherlands outpost. Not me, maybe I should read more about current events. Where did Theo go again? Was it Afghanistan?

Blog / Website? I think they are similar to MJ's but more of a headlines kind of thing. I'm pretty sure that the website is run by volunteers or just fans of Idol, but I could be wrong. They may make money at it, - but it looks like they have some volunteer positions anyway.

Thanks. There's one Idol site that has a reputaion for accuracy, and one for inaccuracy - AINOW, IdolsNow, I forget which. Anyhow, this is accurate: The Truth is #5 on the VH1 Top 20 this week.

You probably saw my attempts to get the faithful to vote, a bit more, on that *certain* blog. Not sure it helped. If it did, it was my intention! MJ did not like.

Due to following my fav. Canadian bands, I've probably changed my attitude. It used to be disinterest or apathy, about voting. But I think voting for the more important things is worth it. If it's pop success you want, then all this stuff plays a part.

(While I was writing this, I missed the Top 20 countdown! Dang it.)

Yeah, you're right, voting on the important stuff is good. (#5!!! Whoot!) I wouldn't waste my time (much - lol) voting for twitter person of the year, but something that gets on tv and says.. #5 that's a concrete goal and can only help the song. If nothing else it shows that there are people passionate enough about it to spend time voting on it.

I DNL that picture either. Kris looks 12. From that website it looks like Kris will be playing for the kids of the soliders at an international school. You know what? It's a do a nice thing for service people and their families stationed overseas. I can't think of it as a career move, it's more of a charity thing.

But it gives you an example of the effectiveness of VH1. I'm pretty sure LLWD never went anywhere until it was on VH1. I also think this is something that's statistical, that will be on sites like Wikipedia for the artist's lifetime (if there will be sites like that, in the future). The more such stats an artist racks up, the more credence he/she seems to be regarded with in the world.

I wasn't thinking of it as a career move, I just wanted the troops who are fighting to see his show, since it's upbeat and fun, and represents home really well. I have no problem with it being for other troops, as well. They're also serving and deserve a good show.

All the ad says is it's a free show. It's at 6pm, so it's not during school hours. You may be right. But I can't imagine that people on the base, who are probably mostly in their 20's, wouldn't go to it. It doesn't seem like much is going on, there.

But this is what makes me wonder if the band is going, since I can't see all the amps and equipment, and stuff, being moved in for one concert. Still, it happens. It happened at that school auditorium in Conway (AR), right?

It would disappoint me if I thought the USO thinks Kris is kiddie entertainment.

Is Kris only going to do one show while he's there? I'm asking because he's there for like a week, right? Maybe there are other shows planned.

When Cook went on his USO tour in Irak in January 2009, the band went with him. (I think they also went somewhere else like Saudi Arabia, but I can't find the info right now.) Anyway, they did at least a couple of shows and they still brought their equipement with them.

No, he's there for a week so I doubt he's doing only one show. That's just one I happened to find. I had to Google a combination of things and I came up with it. I didn't know how to find any others (or if they're on Google). But he's there for eight days or something.

That video is cool (what's with the toilet? lol). Looks like Kris won't be doing anything that exciting - though I don't really know.

Wow - were the AMAs really a year ago??

I'm pretty sure you're right, LLWD really bounced up after being on VH1. Tv validates things in peoples minds.
