I don't know, maybe Kris would've wanted it to happen differently, but for me since it's done, and they released the Kris and Pat version I think that Pat performing with Kris kinda made me love Pat. (just a little - lol) I've noticed a lot of radio stations when they mentioned the Train connection to The Truth seemed kind of excited. I could be wrong, but it seemed that way to me. And I'm all about radio stations being excited.

Where was this show in Texas? It looks like it's in some little town suare someplace.

San Antonio.

Kris looks tired, from his posture. I guess he might be. I think he played (full or partial) four shows in two days while he was here, right? Three, anyway. Anyway, he looks kinda tired, to me.

I've never been there -- San Antonio -- but it has that River Walk area.

So, Kris goes from headlining in front of 20,000, to opening for Train, in one day. The life of an American Idol.

Kris will be the Idol for only three more days. Sadz.

I'll watch the duet tomorrow, because, well, I'm in no hurry to watch it, but I would have actually been insulted if Pat hadn't come out to sing it with Kris, at this particular show. I mean, out of the two of them, for each download of the song, Pat is bound to make the most money out of it. He's got the songwriting royalties and since he appears in the song, he's got to get a cut out of that as well (another reason to hate the duet, Kris must make less money out of it, since Pat must get a cut somehow... unless people buy the album version). So, yeah, it doesn't make me love Pat any more than I did, because it was the obvious thing to do. He HAD to come out and sing it with Kris, I don't see how it could have been otherwise.

Aw, the duet. Well, yes.. a little awkward with the two of them singing. LOL But, very, very cool for Kris to sing with Pat, and also now when people ask he can say they've met and performed it together.

Just looked at TWOP. Kris must have done VERY well at KISS concert since the concerned people appeared like magic Awesome. ;)

They are out in full force at MJ's as well (this info by way of TI, since I haven't ventured into the MJ's jungle today. I haven't had my injections yet. Tee-hee). The Glamberts are much concerned because Kris's voice didn't sound up to snuff on the first few bars of TT in San Antone. I noticed this as well (though the recording was also bad), but I think one is allowed a couple of bars now and then. Esp. considering the hectic scedule, etc. Or just because one is a human being.

But yeah, the Kiss concert, and then of course the upcoming Idol appearance, must be eating at the poor things.

Thanks for the vidios and the interview, SleepinIn! You're right, Lizzie's version was much better. That was the first time Kris sang with Pat and of course, singing with someone for the first time can be sort of difficult. But that was good.

Were you surprised when Kris said in the interview that that was the first time he ever met Pat? I was, kind of. I don't know if Kris should be saying that, since his song is supposed to at least sound like they had maybe met. lol.

That interviewer likes Pat Monahan's voice a lot more than I do.

Someone on TWoP sent me a PM asking me to join this forum. It sounds good. We'll have to venture over there. I haven't looked at the link yet.

Kris is so honest, I can't say I'm all that surprised, LOL. I'd be like we worked on this song together.. this is what we came up with. Kris is like we met yesterday.. it was awesome.

Well, are you surprised that Kris and Pat never even met before? That's what surprises me. I just assumed they had.

Just got done rehearsing at the Nokia for wed. Why did I get nervous on that stage? The pressure is off right? Right?!

Wow, is it really after 1:00? I had such a lousy night. Bought an air conditioner at Home Depot, lugged the huge thing up three flights, put it together and installed it, and it was really loud, like something was broken. So, uninstalled it, disassembled it, tried to fit it in the box, lugged it down three flights, returned it, and bought a different one. Lugged that back home, up three flights, etc.

That Come Together was so good. Loved his bluesy notes at the end.

I was unhappy with some of the Ryland drumming on something or other recently. A couple of things. He's sort of plodding, sometimes. Chris Crippin, he ain't. It's not really crisp enough.

Did you get the air working?

Come Together was seriously awesome. I just love how into it they all are. They are having a blast playing that and you can tell.

I kind of like Drew better myself.. not on this though - I thought Ryland was good.... and remember when I bitched about Andrew (in the first performance? Nothing like giving them a day to work things out.. lol).. I am SO over that. Andrew is awesome-sauce.

We'll have to test drive the forum. ;)
